By far one of my favorite venues for ambiance, service and of course above all delicious FOOD! Escoba is a timeless experience with consistent service and a menu that will satisfy any craving. Highly recommend a visit before they close their doors permanently on Feb. 10th, 2022.

A truly memorable luncheon date. Ambience was very European, and the cork decor reminded me of my time in Portugal. Food was extraordinary: flavours,portions,temperatures could not be rivaled. Service was Exemplary! checking to see if everything was wonderful, great recommendations, and excellent manner with customers. Wish that you were still staying in Calgary!!

The mushroom soup is devine! Surf and turf was excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked to specifications. However both dinners were served with an uninspiring array of vegetables.

The good was on point and it was nice not to feel rushed. The wait staff was attentive but not smothering. The food was delicious! Crab cakes totally rocked. The muscles....ask for extra bread to get the sauce off the bottom of the plate. The ambiance was gentle and totally relaxed. One of the best meals I have had out this fall.
My husband and I used to frequent Escoba pre-covid but it had been a good two years or more since we had been - and it was as amazing as we remembered. The food here is incredible and the service is second to none. We would go here again and again and again!!

This is in the top three restaurants in downtown Calgary. Pick an item off the menu and you will not go wrong - it is all great. Laurel and the staff are amazing hosts and provide the best service.

Once again an experience to remember. My client was a first timer and wants to eat there everyday now. The greeting was amazing the service was amazing and the food was the best steak ever!!! Thank you again Escoba you are incredible!!!

This was my first time to this restaurant. It has a very nice ambiance with great food and service. Took my wife there for her birthday and they made it special. They even changed the music in the restaurant to a birthday song when they brought out a free dessert. Nice touch. Definitely recommend.

We attended the tasting and wine paring dinner last night that was featuring Bonvida wines with Mark Bata and a curated tasting menu by Chef Brad and it did not disappoint. The four courses were all outstanding… each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully plated. The wines paired perfectly enhancing both the flavors of the food and the wine. My favorite was the grilled lamb chop - perfectly cooked and so tender. And the wild mushroom ravioli was an incredibly close second. Mark Bata’s intimate knowledge of the winery brought the evening to life …. Complete with a story dating back to 1212. Perhaps that is why the A.D.1212 wine from Decugnano Dei Barbi now holds a special place in my wine rack. I have had the privilege of attending a few of these events and they never disappoint. I would highly encourage you to follow @escobabistro on Instagram or Facebook and snag some tickets to their next wine dinner. It is a great date night or evening out with friends. It will not disappoint.
