Good coffee, great atmosphere! There aren’t tons of fancy drink options if iced coffee drinks are your thing, but they’re reasonably priced and they hit the spot! Lots of space to sit and have a coffee chat or work away for a bit.I got a regular iced coffee with dairy. Will come back for sure.
Unfortunately today Saturday at 11am there were only 1 cashier & 1 person in the kitchen. The place was kinda full of customers, however the cashier told us if we order food it would take around 45min. We only ordered 4 teas and 3 croissants. The order took ~50 minutes to arrive. The cashier was also preparing coffee and teas, she was very polite although very busy.
Do not go here! I came in with my girlfriends on a Saturday around 12:45 really looking forward to brunch. Based off the high rating and the pictures it was gonna to be great… but it was the exact opposite. The place is dirty and falling apart! When we go to order the display was practically empty and told we can’t order anything off the food menu because they were closing at 1:30 since it was “slow”. We still decided to get coffee but that was a mistake. It took forever!! and when we finally got it we had maybe 5 minutes to enjoy it before he shut off the lights and music kicking everyone in the cafe out (6 tables). We asked for to go cups and you could see the annoyance on his face. Highly disappointed in this place, I wish I could rate it lower.
Terrible place. I've heard rumours of the new managers being completely rude to the employees, they have no respect for their time and how hard they work when they're very clearly understaffed. In my own experiences being a customer here, I've seen the same faces a few times and as of late all of those faces have disappeared, either they've been fired or quit on their own accord... not good for business. Plus the plates are always dirty, the floors are covered in mud and food, music is always too loud to have a conversation over. Food and drinks are way too over priced for the quality and quantity you get.I wouldn't waste your time or money here.
The barista forgot about our drinks which was fine but when we notified him about our missing drinks, he was not only unapologetic but seemed super annoyed as if we caused an inconvenience for him. When asked if we could get the coffees in to-go cups, again, he was full of attitude. The ambience and service of the staff is so important for any cafes, I unfortunately will not be returning.
I haven't had their main food or coffee, but their London Fogs and pastries are delicious. The decor is very pretty with lots of space. Definitely one of my favourite places.
My husband and I stop by the café on Sunday to grab a couple of Americanos. Beautiful decor, and a very large space. I change my mind and decided to have a London fog. When we went to pay at the till and took out a $20 we were greeted with ‘Oh cash’ and a roll of the eyes. Never experienced that before. We grabbed a table. Then when my husband went back up to get his coffee he asked for cream but was told they didn’t know where it was. It’s a cafe. Kind of left a ‘Meh’ impression on what we thought was bound to be delightful experience when we walked in.
Awesome for them that they have some 5 star reviews but as for me and my family we had a pretty negative experience. Saddest part was it was my sister's birthday. Had to wait nearly 2 hours for our food orders. They forgot about 1/2 of our drink orders...short staffed? I can't fault the one server with really good makeup(idk their name) they were hustling and doing their absolute best...but when we first arrived staff was chatting not cleaning up several messes from earlier.... decor looks nice from afar but up close needs fixing/replacing. Don't recommend this place for a weekend breakfast. Or HIRE MORE STAFF if you are not just a deli and have a full menu.
Stopped in for some late dinner after paint night across the street. Wasn’t sure what to expect based on other reviews. Was enthusiastically greeted by Lisa! She’s a super star!We all had wings and drinks. The wings were fantastic, salt & pepper, lemon pepper, teriyaki and hot (Franks). Nice local beer selection too!Do try the Parm Fries, we were not sure so Lisa brought some out to try, wow! They were super. We were stuffed at the end of our stay.Prices were reasonable service was fantastic! We loved the food!Yes it’s a dive bar! There’s even flippers in the wall to show for it.It’s not fancy, don’t expect much, but it’s decent, friendly and good food from our experience.Lisa and her son both served our table, they made for a memorable experience! Thank you!
Umm. This place is sub-par.Extremely understaffed for somewhere so large. There were 2 people working at the time we came in, 1130am, the 2 staff were very hardworking, they tried their best to cook, serve, cashier at the same time. Our drinks came staggered, approx 10min interval between each drink (4 drinks). The cashier had to run to the grocery store to get ingredients while she was also attempting to cook. Our food took 50 minutes to arrive, the “hash” on our eggs Benny’s and hash bowls were somehow uncooked and overcooked at the same time, some were raw and the rest crispy like potato chips. If you come here be prepared for terrible food and a long wait for drinks.I don’t blame any of this on the current employed staff as I could clearly see they were doing their best to accommodate the customers. This is a serious mismanagement/misownership issue.Dear owner, hire more staff, train your staff, maybe show up to help your staff out.

This place is incredible - Seerat and his team are always friendly have the tastiest food. The seats have the best back support in all of Calgary, allowing for you to finish that project you might have been procrastinating on.
We were passing by this area and were looking for a coffee place and saw this espresso Cafe and stopped. We ordered 2 latte with extra shot espresso with plain croissant the coffee was absolutely good as we wanted. The croissant was also good. Loved the service too.
They used to be very good on both food and drinks. Guess with the new management and chefs...everything goes downward. It's my first time having egg Benedict with NO Hollandaise sauce given and 2 pieces of toast with NO butter/spread (in addition to the 2 tiny pieces of English muffin - same dish - just strange). Drink was Ok, not as good as before. The place is not clean. Don't see any effort there to maintaining the place and food quality. Love to support local business...but can't anymore if no effort is put in.
First time at this place for brunch and was intrigued enough by photos on Google reviews that I decided to try it. My wife had the Caprese Panini and I had the Flat Top Scrambler. Both dishes were served fresh and at just the right temperature. They tasted really good and were filling. I also had a Pecan tart which I really enjoyed and my wife unfortunately had a cold donut which was terrible. The coffees were just ok....could have been hotter. The manager came out to apologize about the donut and graciously offered us a replacement item which we politely thanked him for but did not oblige.Parking was easy although this was a Saturday so I can't speak for busier times. Overall just an ok underwhelming experience as far as Saturday brunch goes.
Stopped in for brunch with some friends and absolutely loved the messy bowl. Food and drinks were delicious! The staff were all incredibly nice and well mannered, and the manager personally checked in at every table. Will be back for brunch!
