Im so happy they survived the pandemic!! The subs are still as good as i remembered it and glad its close to my office. Their buns are absolutely the best as super crunchy but super soft at tbe same time. I find the bun can make it or break it when it comes to a good banh mi sandwich. One thing to note is that their prices have gone up, as im sure all businesses, with the rise of food costs and inflation. My assorted was $14 before gst and tip. The owners are super friendly and i love going there.

4 years ago during the pandemic their debit machine was down, there was no sign on the window nor did they tell me when ordering until I was about to pay that their system was down. There was no where to get cash around the area as everything was closed due to the pandemic, I offered and insisted to pay via e-transfer as I told them I didn’t know when I was going to be back in down town as I don’t live around the area and recently had a baby so I limited myself from going out especially due to the state we were in, they said they didn’t have e-transfer set up and to pay whenever i returned. I had full intentions going back but again as the pandemic worsened and restrictions were placed, it made it impossible. 4 years later I decide to go back as I returned down town for work and I was passively attacked by the owner due to my outstanding balance from 4 years ago over $38.00 after ordering my sub already. I offered and paid the outstanding balance but the owner continued to shame me and this was in front of other customers. If the mistake is caused by the business and after 4 years you have audacity to ask for $38.00 back, this is shows the lack of responsibility that the owner should own up to and not place it on the customer. The rude customer service clearly shows that they dont care about customer retention and it’s humiliating when it was their mistake and knowing that this happened when the pandemic was at its height. Also, their subs have changed, the beef on the sub is not as flavourful as it use to be and found it quite bland. It use have more a sweet and savoury taste and it’s not the case anymore and will no longer be returning to this place and will ensure I tell other ppl my experience.

Great subs and great Vietnamese coffee in a clean setting. But what really sets them apart (and you'll see most reviews mention this) is the incredibly friendly service. Seems so rare to find these days - they are genuinely sweet and you feel like you're being served by family.
A very clean and cozy joint with the friendliest owners, fastest service and most delicious beef sate sub I've ever had. I also had an avocado bubble tea which was fresh. Can't wait to try the other menu items :)
