I love the Crossroads Market and found this little gem after a friend of mine recommended the amazing sandwiches. As a vegetarian they had two options The Zen and the Gree machine, I tired the Green Machine and was loving every savoury bite!! If you haven't checked them out yet... You have to! Super friendly staff and great food.
Tried the Berta' Grilled Cheese melt and my son had a Oh Canada bubble waffle. I would say hands down the best grilled in I've tried in Calgary. My son said the Bubble Waffle was "awesome" and enormous. They have a food truck in Airdrie and a location at Crossroads Market.
4 for service, 4 for the simple yet good food variety but overall food was ok at a 3-3.5. This spot originally stemmed from a food truck business which expanded into a stall in the farmers market. Rating is based on the grilled cheese, which as comforting as it was, it wasn't necessarily as melty as it can be through the press - the cheddar. Fillings are slightly lighter/simple for my selected "Yo Momma's (cheddar, Swiss, tomato and bacon). The pricing is good though...
