Delicious! The fried crispy chicken bites were perfectly battered and balanced with spices. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup, omg! Tender beef, freshly-made homemade noodles, and a flavorful broth.
We absolutely love the Hungry Monkey. If Taiwanese night market street food is your thing, this is the spot to be at. This family works so hard at providing the best food and services. I respect their dedication to the family business. The salt and pepper popcorn chicken, the five spiced beef noodle soup and fries tofu with pickled cabbage are our must-haves each time. Hurry up, clean your kitchen and open back up. Please, please add deep fried oyster mushrooms to your menu please. I can't wait to try taiwanese food in Alberta as I just moved here from Vancouver. Let's increase the amount of Asian restaurants and people visiting. Let's put Vancouver to shame! I am missing authentic Chinese food as an Asian who just moved here. I'm really missing the food and culture.
