Eighty-Eight Brewing Co. Reviews
Great service, drinks and food. Patio is a bit underwhelming.
Variety of nuanced pizzas, beer and cider fights. Cool desserts. This place I feel it's a solid one to check out of you're looking pub but unique.
A buddy and myself popped into 88 brewing Co on Thursday afternoon for a couple Night Galleries. This is a great brewery with a great selection of beers. The name is based on the 1988 Calgary Olympics, and those are the colors that were used back then for the tickets, the clothing etc.
However, the beer is always fresh and tasty, and the service was super quick. Our bartender was really friendly and knowledgeable.

Eighty-Eight Brewing Co. offers a great selection of drinks, including Pretty in Pink, Hard Iced Tea, and Strawberry Bounce. The pizza is delicious, featuring a thick focaccia bread crust that is chunky and mouthful, making it very filling, with no thin option available. The patio has a nice ambience, perfect for the season, and while the location can be hard to access, it's a great place to stop for a beer and try different kinds, especially with its Olympics theme.
The food is excellent, with great flavors and a fresh, creative selection of both beers and pizza. Dining with a large group allows for a fun, family-style experience to try more dishes. The service is order at the counter with table delivery, and the beer offerings are very nice and wide-ranging. The staff is friendly and outgoing, often going above and beyond to ensure customers have a great experience.
The Christmas season brings a Home Alone theme that makes the experience exceptionally fun. Nero's Pizza is a standout, with the Magnum Pie and pepperoni being customer favorites. The cool vibe and outstanding staff make this place worth visiting, and it's family-friendly as well. Many customers note the incredible pizza, with its thick and cheesy nature being a highlight. It's one of the top breweries in the city, and the Home Alone decor around Christmas time is a highlight, making it a superb spot to bring out-of-town friends.
