My first time today and I won’t be back. We had whole fish, chicken meal, beef, jolloff rice, plantain and puff puff. Sadly, the only 2 items that were enjoyable were the puff puff and the plantain, which anyone can make. The rest of the food is lacking in any special flavour or seasoning. The worse part was the customer service, or lack of it. No greeting at the door, no smile, very cold attitude. They could stand learn a lot about customer service expectations in Calgary. Food is also overpriced. $25 for one small white fish which doesn’t include any side dishes. $93 tot was a lot to pay for flavourless basics and no customer service. I won’t be back.

Yesterday my Supper Club crew tried this Nigerian restaurant in central north Calgary - it is an absolute gem.When I arrived, one of the owners was sitting at our table talking with two of my friends who were already there, going over what different things on the menu are, how they are cooked and in some cases the traditions behind them. She really gave us a great explanation of the food but also some cool insights and stories about her culture and country. Her husband also came out a bit later and did his own explanations, with his own stories and perspectives. It honestly felt like being invited into a neighbour’s home rather than being in a restaurant. Many laughs were had - which was needed after a long week.The food was really delicious and flavourful. They really made an effort to make us feel welcome as a group, but also did little things to give us each as individuals a customized experience based on the conversations we had when we first arrived.This restaurant really is special and the people are just wonderful. So Calgary, you should totally check it out. 10/10 recommend.
Had an amazing experience here today, the food was delicious but the owners were even better! Such a friendly atmosphere, and we just so happened to come in on their buffet day, so there was a range of different foods for us to choose from. The puff puff dish and fried plantain were incredible, and all dishes were so flavourful. Will definitely be back!

First time trying this restaurant and I had the best experience. The staff were so sweet and helpful in guiding us through the menu and giving us recommendations. They even gave us some puff puffs to try and chatted with us for a bit while we waited for the food. They definitely go the extra mile here. We had the Iyan - Half Efo Riro and Half Egusi Soup with beef, recommended by one of the staff and it was 10/10, so flavourful and keeps you wanting more. Definitely would recommend this restaurant and I will definitely come back for more!

Best african food in calgary! I went for my second ever try of african food, and the service was amazing, the staff were so friendly and kind, and excited to share what their culture has to offer when it comes to food — he guided me to different spots on the menu where i could try more popular dishes and lesser known dishes. It is pretty expensive, but the food is absolutely delicious, like seriously amazing! they also offer a large amount of side dishes and smaller things to try. they have lots of drinks. I also saw that they offer a buffet sometimes.Huge thank you to the talented chefs and to the kind man at the front who helped me with my to-go order around 4:30pm on february 3rd!
