Today my fiance and I had our wedding tasting at F&P and we had a wonderful experience. All concerns that we initially had coming in were swiftly addressed by Sherri, the Event Coordinator, and the amazing food spoke for itself. Sherri spent alot of time with us and made us feel very comfortable. I would like to thank her for her time and generosity. We cannot wait to have our upcoming wedding here. Thank you!

We had reservations. We were ignored by the staff. We waited 2 hours for our meals. About a half hour before our meals came a staff member came and said sorry about the wait but we had a large party. Honestly if you knew you had a large party why would you take a reservation for 8 people as well if you couldn’t even service us?

The feature platter Thor's Hammer was exceptionally delicious. The beef was so tender and the sides where devine. I hope you add it to the menu.

I don't know when this became a family pizza and burger restaurant as it used to be a high-end place to go for special celebrations. My husband and I went last night to celebrate my birthday and unfortunately it was not a positive experience.I ordered the Thai ramen with salmon and it was so bland it tasted like drinking skim milk ..they did offer to replace it with a different meal so I tried a salad with shrimp and even that was just basic.Well my husband enjoyed his pork schnitzel I found it over breaded and oily. The staff were very accommodating and took off the amount of the meal from the check which I appreciate. It's unfortunate it was very disappointing and I don't plan to return for a very long time.

We were lucky enough to dine at Flores and Pines tonight, a night where the chef created the most delicious feature platter, Thor's Hammer. Kami, server extraordinaire, described it as a braised beef leg with all the sides. (Of course her description was more technical and had all the details). We were here celebrating our engagement, so decided to treat ourselves. Watching as the most spectacular platter came across the floor, we were speechless. It caught everyone's eyes as it passed by other diners. The only thing better than the look, was the taste. Tender, succulent, flavourful, mouthwateringly delicious! This is my second time dining here and it is quickly becoming my new favourite. I hope this makes it on the menu permanently as this is something I would order regularly. Thank you for an amazing evening.

I have dined at Flores & Pine many times. On this occasion it was for my partner's 60th birthday. The starter and dessert were good. I had the schnitzel with spätzle and mushroom sauce for my main; the sauce was over seasoned, but not to the point that I needed to formally complain about it. My partner had the grilled salmon with ramen noodles in a "thai-style" broth; she complained to me about it and after tasting it I had to let the server know that the dish was likely the most bland, under-seasoned dish I had ever tasted. As I was half way through my main course, my partner ordered a salad with prawns. When asked how it was she let the server know it was average at best. The only thing that saved the evening for us a bit was the service, which was very good. A portion of the meal was comp'd; but really, I would have very much preferred a great meal - as we have had in the past. We agreed that we will not return for the foreseeable future. The only thing that might influence this decision is if the restaurant returns to the best in the North West in Avenue Magazine's best of list... Regards, Michael M

The barkeeps Nunzie, Ethan and Breezy, not to mention their manager Bella, exemplify great service in their unwavering ability to please the patron while always progressing their crafts.

Our wine orders were taken late and we had to remind them to bring it even after we had already received our appetizer. We ordered three courses from the menu and they rushed us by bringing the salad dishes with the main meal. Finally they made errors on the bill we had to bring to their attention. Last time for us.

Exquisite experience all around. A diverse and delectable menu that almost made it hard to choose. The service was superb and the ambience was warm and cozy.

Wanted to go for a nice dinner (belated valentines dinner) and decided on Flores & pine because of the beautiful dining room, and previous positive experiences. The food was very sub-par. My wife’s meal was overcooked and tough. My meal was bland, boring and over priced.

The ambiance is lovely, the service was good, however the food is not worth the price. We often eat at fine dining restaurants, this was average. We left disappointed!

poor customer service. waitress didnt give us the food we ordered; stated due to many request for the chicken rotisserie...the run out. They didnt have too many clients at the time when we did the order. The menu food selection is very limited for a restaurant with these high range prices.
