Don’t order the Apron Steak Sandwich for $30. It’s just a hotdog bun, mayo, 200 jarred pickled jalapeños , beef jerky and a brick of provolone melted on top.

Busy weekend, brunch was flat fee all you can estimate entrees.

Unfortunately we did not have the best experience at Flower and Wolf. We went there on Valentin day and waited an hour and a half to get our food. A lot of table waited a long time and some table got their food right away. Our waitress did her best but the restaurant was clearly understaff and not ready for this event. The food was okay but not special.

We went for a Valentine’s Day Dinner. It was extremely disappointing for an event that was being promoted. They were short staffed and wait times for drinks and food were horrible. We waited 45 min to get our first drink, appetizers came out one person at a time for a coursed meal this disappointing . My husband had ordered cocktail pairing which he was supposed to get a cocktail for each course, he got 1 cocktail the whole meal. I signed up for a wine pairing and was told I had to choose my own wine? I also only got 2 glasses that were late and did not arrive with my course. We would have left except there was no other option at peak time on Valentine’s. I will say the food when it came was good. Our server was apologetic, but given the whole night was so poorly ran we will not be returning.

Had the potential to be good Valentine's dinner, only to flop due to lack of support and poor management.

Arrived at 6:50pm for a 7:00pm reservation. There was already a line at the door. Got seated by 7:10pm. Not bad considering it being a special occasion.

Our server mentioned the kitchen was a little behind, but that was an understatement. We ordered from the set menu by 7:30pm - and opted out of the drink pairing. Good thing we did since we had A LOT of time to people watch and notice the hectic atmosphere in between placing our orders to receiving the first course then our drinks. At this point there was a line up of nearly 20 parties waiting at the lobby of the hotel.

There was only ONE BARTENDER making all the drink for the entire restaurant. There were moments when we thought he was just going to walk out. But he hung on and did his best to get the drinks out.
At this point management should've considered removing the drink pairings to ease the amount of incoming drink orders and help the guy out.

There were THREE SERVERS that were responsible for the tables for our side of the restaurant (it's a big restaurant). At one point one of them had broken a glass at the server station...and DIDNT BOTHER CLEANING IT UP. There was shattered glass at the station and bar and you can hear the shards cracking and breaking every time someone stepped on it. It got to the point where a shard was kicked out into the dining area and I had to notify our server that it should be taken care of. Typically when glass is broken it's a safety hazard and should be cleaned up immediately. The server who had dropped it clearly didn't care & had no urgency to clean it up.

Other things we noted while we waited, food was slowly coming out of the kitchen - but was being served to wrong tables. First courses were being served before drinks and cutlery. The host and even someone from the hotel concierge were bussing tables. Drinks at the bar were successfully being made, but it was mixed amongst dirty glasses and cleaning spray/rag on the bar counter.

At this point it was 90mins into our reservation when we finally got our main course. We were starving at this point and gobbled it up within 10 mins.

It needs to be noted that the drinks and food did taste pretty good. With the exception of the lentils - it was clearly prepped earlier and was just mush by the time I got it. I had to look at the menu again to see what it was cause it tasted like refried beans.

I opted to give 2 stars since the servers and bartender did do their best with what they had to work with.

We overheard that the plan was to not accept walk-ins, but clearly was ignored and the staff had suffered for it. Who ever thought it was a good idea to have a skeleton staff on Valentine's Day should be reconsidered for the position. It was clear that other tables were also getting the same vibes as we were and may reconsider coming back again.

We went for the fixed menu on Valentine’s Day. Atmosphere was weird - playing rock music. As the night went on they turned the lights up instead of dimming them. Our drinks took forever to arrive (and came after our appetizers). And by appetizers, they should call “amuse-bouche” because they were tiny, single-bite portions. Food quality however was nice, and the char and short ribs were quite good. We ordered wine with dinner and it never came. Any other restaurant would comp your drinks, but no. Would not recommend, will never go back.

Had brunch at “Flower and Wolf” today and omg what a terrible experience. The food is great and yummy. But the service and cleanliness is unbelievable.

It’s AYCE ordering through a menu, it takes a loooottt of time to wait on the food. We didn’t even get all the food that we ordered and just got tired of waiting that we left after 1.5 hrs of being in there. They should have done this buffet style.

We sat on a table surrounded by other tables not being cleaned and dirty plates are just sitting on the table. So ridiculous. A table will only get cleaned if a diner is coming. When we left, there are so many tables all around the place that are just left uncleaned and dirty plates just sitting there.

Oh btw that table that got cleaned because a diner comes in? the staff only wiped it off with her hands 😅 unbelievable.

First time we were there and the last! The service was awful and we felt absolutely ignored, while the table next to us was full of attention with 3 servers ! because people spoke French?? They were always checked about how good everything was and the same time our table was left behind...It took 30 min to start to bring our food, while others was no delay non stop order and bring, this is how you guys treat your customers??? Absolutely disappointed and would never recommend to anyone, waisted our time , I've never felt so bad and I've never seen such terrible customer service ever! Shame!

Good that each serving is small, so we could try everything on the menu — best to order several dishes at a time.

Some of the dishes are slight variations from the menu description, though still tasty.
The Chicken Potstickers are not pan-fried (definition of potstickers), but boiled like dumplings in broth.

I would pass on the Mac & Cheese (hardly any bacon bits); and the raspberry mousse cake (mediocre like grocery store cakes).

All other menu items are well made and enjoyable… wish there were more dishes on the menu, though.

Good atmosphere for small or large groups. Server was very pleasant, though kitchen is somewhat slow.

YYC Hot Chocolate Fest? Yes please! Can't beat their PB&J Hot Coco. Went with some friends during Chinook Blast and hit the spot, like a desert in a cup and the tiny PB&J sandwich is such a cute (and yummy!) touch! Perfect after spending some time outside to warm up and the restaurant / hotel is so close to the river.

The updated winter menu has well-rounded salad choices (the beet salad was delicious), and the service, as always, was warm and friendly. A great way to start the year!

Overall, the food is high quality with beautiful presentation, which is something I truly appreciate. Great service—especially from our server, Ailyne—great food, and a wonderful atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! 💕🍽️

Fantastic, good venue and food was divine . The chef knows what he's doing. Everything was delicious especially the salmon it was cooked to perfection.

My family and I have spent past Christmas dinners at this restaurant, and until now it had always delivered an enjoyable and high-quality holiday meal. This year was a complete departure from the standard we once trusted, and it was deeply disappointing from start to finish. Our table placement showed a lack of consideration for guest comfort. We were seated directly beside the entrance, and a coat rack behind us created constant disruptions. Every time someone retrieved a coat, it interrupted our dinner. Only after we asked did we learn the rack was there to compensate for the drafts coming from the door. We then had to request that one of the exterior doors be closed so we would not continue to sit in a freezing draft throughout the evening. Basic guest comfort should not require repeated requests. The dining experience was equally unacceptable. Appetizers took 20 to 30 minutes to arrive and were served in shockingly small portions. The pork belly was the one redeeming item, but the tuna dish, overloaded with grapefruit, felt like an attempt to disguise how little we were actually being given. The main course continued this negative trend. The braised beef was passable, but the turkey was dry and completely lacking in flavor. The soup was mediocre. The dessert selection, once a standout feature with an impressive variety, was bare and uninspired. Even the chocolate fountain lacked the expected strawberries. Previous years included a pasta chef and multiple buffet options, all of which were removed without any effort to replace them with offerings of equal value. The drinks were poorly made and did nothing to enhance the meal. For a dinner priced at $98 per person, it is unacceptable to serve beverages that taste like an afterthought. Overall, this experience was far below what any guest should expect, especially at this price point. It felt as though significant cost-cutting measures were put in place without regard for the guest experience, yet the price remained premium. We left deeply dissatisfied and feeling that we had wasted both time and money. Until the restaurant makes substantial improvements in food quality, service, and overall value, I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for Christmas dining.
