Flower and Wolf Calgary

We had an early dinner at Flower and Wolf. It was quite empty at 5 PM, but I would not say it was quiet as the music volume was a bit too high for my liking. The food was excellent, both the appetizers and the mail courses. The portions are reasonable, and everything cooked very well. The service was OK.

We chose Flower & Wolf for family Thanksgiving brunch and really enjoyed the à la carte buffet menu! There were enough items that we each were able to choose a favourite. Some items to note were: the avocado & hash brown, prosciutto & ricotta, AAA AB beef brisket, AB beef marrow, and the very fun choice smoothie & cotton candy! The multigrain toast was a hit too. We had one gluten-sensitive vegan family member, and all accommodations (as noted in our reservation) were made to make her feel welcome and well fed! We appreciate that the chef came out a few times to check if everything was okay. Service was friendly, fantastic and patient with one of our more demanding family members. The ambiance is bright with beautiful decor, and didn't feel crowded or rushed at all. Parking was easy to find in the lot across the street and on the street. The price of $39 is a great deal!

We went for brunch with a group of friends. It's great for larger groups. We had to ask our server how brunch worked as we weren't sure. The dishes are appetizer sized so she advised that you order 2-3 dishes at a time. We tried almost everything on the menu and it was all brought hot and fresh. Quite flavourful. Only complaint was service was slow and hard to flag server down when we were ready for more dishes or drinks.

We LOVED our first visit to Flower & Wolf! My friend chose a quieter table in the corner so we could catch up, and they were happy to accommodate. It made it feel like our own private event. The kitchen was amazing, accommodating my friend's allergies. And I just LOVED the small plates and that it was an endless brunch. It was perfect to be able to order precisely what you want and sample the dishes. Our servers were fantastic! We will definitely be back!

This all-you-can-brunch was okay, nothing spectacular. There was no dessert at all. There was only 1 salad. We asked if we could have another plate of certain dishes without having all the elements, and it seemed very inconvenient for the restaurant (for example, had the bone marrow dish with the toast, and we just asked for two pieces of bone marrow, no toast, but that couldn't be done). There some delicious microgreens that came on top of the scrambled eggs, but we asked if we could just have the microgreens. Instead of saying no, they just never brought it to us. When served the waffles, the fruit was great, but I had asked if they could give us more fruit on the next waffles, nope, no extra fruit. I know it's not a buffet, it's all you can eat brunch menu. But if you're trying to attract someone to come to your all-you-can-eat, you shouldn't be acting as if it's such an inconvenience that the guest is asking for more (and with some customization). The waitress was okay, but it was overly attentive asking if we wanted anything else, but considering she wasn't actually accommodating us and then asking so many times "do you want anything else?" we just felt she was trying to get rid of us and trying us leave faster! It's nice to try this place out since I saw a bunch of instagram reels but it's a place I'd recommend.

Food was good, it was quiet enough so we could have a great conversation without struggling to hear each other. Service was mediocre. Not very friendly or attentive. It wasn't busy while we were there so I am certain our server wasn't stressed. I would go back again though because I enjoyed the quiet and the food!

Delicious, fresh à la carte options made this AYCE brunch stand out. However, our initial service was extremely disappointing, with our server frequently disappearing and seemingly avoiding our table. Thankfully, the restaurant manager was phenomenal. He swiftly intervened, providing impeccable service for the rest of our meal and completely making up for the earlier issues. He truly saved the day, and his exceptional care is the sole reason this isn't a one-star review.

They seem to have some deceptive practices around their happy hour prices. I likely won't be back as there are many other places nearby that are great.

From the greeting at the door, to the exceptionally poor service and terrible food quality, don't bother. The Sheraton needs to visit these issues sooner, than later. This is not indicative of the restaurants in Calgary.

The service and food were just superb! I appreciate the excellent service and delicious food you consistently offer. You are my top choice for business lunch meetings, and as long as this level of service persists, you will remain my top choice. A minor observation when dining indoors is that the background music could be lowered slightly, as the loud sound disrupts the conversations taking place. Your guests elevate their voices to surpass the background music and ensure they are heard, prompting everyone to follow suit. This is not beneficial for business meetings. Daniel Diaz-De-Leon -

I always liked the Sheraton Eau Claire and the area. I was disappointed with our Happy Hour experience. Great venue but the service and food is just average, considering the cost. I think there are better alternatives close by.
