Wonderful brunch spot. The food was delicious. We participated in the yyc food and drink expo and it was definitely worth it. The esthetics of the entire restaurant was absolutely beautiful. From the dining area, private rooms and even the bathrooms, it was beautifully laid out. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable in the menus. I'll definitely come back!

I really struggled with this review. We dined here as part of a group of 6 for dinner on a Saturday evening. On one hand, the food, drinks and service were excellent. Everything was packed with delicious flavours.
However, the food came out VERY slow (it took about 3 hours total for 1 starter plate, 4 small plates, and 3 large plates). Also, the portions were noticeably small for the price point/family dining style - for example, $30 for 6 shrimp. Everyone only had 1 bite. Deducted one star for this.
Would still very much recommend dining here but I think it is more suitable for smaller groups (4 people would be a good number as everyone could have more than 1 bite of each plate).

Food is underwhelming to inedible. Chicken was slimy, and beef appetizer was chewy. Table for 2, we were sat in a row of tables for 2 about twelve inches from our neighbors. The place was loud with music and our waitress couldn't care less if we heard the 'specials' she was telling us about. Service was unfriendly, food lacks creativity. If you like to over pay for bad service and food, fortunas row is the place for you.

Would a review with a full name make my comments more legitimate for you? What was your intention with this comment? We decided the food and service were both unacceptably bad enough on the spot and didn't want to waste time trying to help you fix it that night. Additionally, we did mention the chewy app to the waistress who DID NOT care. We knew we wouldn't be back.

We had an incredible experience at Fortuna's Row last night. Outstanding service, magical cocktails, and every dish was a winner from start to finish. I only wish we saved room for dessert!
Came in to try out their Valentine's dinner and it did not disappoint. Food may look little (maybe because the plate were huge) but it was very filling and the flavors definitely hit the spot. Just a lil sad that they ran out of the appetizer and desserts that we wanted but the substitutes were just as good

I would recommend coming here for cocktails and atmosphere only. Food was disappointing. Went with a group and no one was impressed with their food. Prices are unreasonably high. Even the desserts are $20… highest I’ve seen at any restaurant.

Steph and the team at Fortuna’s row was gracious in accommodating our group of 14 recently. I was hosting people from out of town as well as locals - with all of them here for the first time. The Family Style set meal we had drew rave reviews by all - something for everyone while accommodating for a few dietary restrictions. Definitely not your standard fare (in a good way). Service was friendly and attentive throughout the night.
Would strongly recommend for groups of people.
Only very minor thing for atmosphere was it was a bit dark that made it hard to see menus for our old eyes…
Vegetarian options: There were lots of Vegetarian options for the few folks we had in our group.

As a first-time visitor to Fortuna’s Row, I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the outside, the restaurant is unassuming—truly a case of “don’t judge a book by its cover.” But once inside, it’s easily one of the most stunning dining spaces in Calgary that I’ve found.
Our group was thoroughly impressed by the expertly crafted and beautifully curated menu, with dishes that were both plentiful and full of distinctive flavour. The service was equally outstanding—professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu.
I couldn’t get enough of the venue itself—so much so that I had to take a walk around just to fully appreciate the thoughtful, stylish, and comfortable design. It was an exceptional experience, and everyone in our party was equally blown away.
