I had a half rack of ribs with fries. The ribs were clearly microwaved or reheated from frozen, definitely not cooked from fresh. The fries and coleslaw were average.
The server was passive aggressively blunt, but overall accommodating. The promptness of service was acceptable.
I was staying at a different hotel, but visited this establishment as my hotel did not have a lounge.

We ventured over to Freeport Food and Drink on a Sunday for my anniversary. It was conveinently located in an area with three big hotels but no options but this place for nearby food. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I enjoyed the Chicken Alfredo and husband had Salmon. It was a bit pricey but worth it. I had wings the following day and that was less impressive as the lemon pepper lacked seasoning and seemed frozen fried. Overall I recommend.

I am a frequent guest of the hotel and dine regularly at the Freeport Food and Drink. Over the many years, the food has always been fresh, scratch made and delicious! The service is great with many familiar faces. Highly recommend! I’ve been dining here for years and always find something new and delicious to try! The pastas and rotisserie chicken are second to none!

Our family spent the week here as we visited Calgary and Banff. The location was perfect for being able to easily get onto the freeway and start our adventures for the day. The area also felt very safe and we didn’t have to worry about our vehicle or anything like that. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Rooms, shared spaces and pool were all very clean and well maintained. Our kids spent many hours in the pool! I loved that the hot tub was nice and big! In the rooms, the beds were the comfiest I have ever slept in at a hotel!! Very quiet, and housekeeping was very sweet and helpful, providing however much or little housekeeping we asked for each day. Would definitely recommend and would book here again!!
Cannot book without a credit card. Wouldn't accept cash security deposit.
For a hotel restaurant the food is good and service is great. Some of the reviews were negative. This is a hotel restaurant not a Cactus Club. Our service was great.

I’m a guest at the hotel which this restaurant is associated with and provides room service for. The restaurant is located in the lobby of the hotel. After a long day of travel I just needed a plate and fork to eat some leftovers I had. I asked the hotel front desk who directed me to the restaurant. The hostess told me their policy is not to lend hotel guests plates. Seriously?!?! But you would deliver room service to my room? Do you not use plates when you deliver room service? Are you worried I’m going to steal your plate? I was planning on having breakfast here but they lost my business on this silly rule so I can’t say whether the food is good or not.

Dinner was closed on Sunday. Food was good. The waiter had problems understanding simple English.

I'd like to know what others found so good about this place. We ordered a garden salad and spinach salad to go and when we got there still had to wait 15 min. They hadn’t even started our simple order. The menu said they were $14 and $15, but we were charged $20 for the spinach salad - with no protein! The garden salad was literally in a small box about 3”x3” and had very few greens, a few carrots, and 4-5 pieces of walnuts (no tomatoes or cucumbers as described) - for $14! The bill was $44 for maybe $3 worth of ingredients. If I weren't leaving Canada to go back to the US in the morning, I would've gone back and demanded an adjustment. Either the person who prepared our to go order was inept or this was a COMPLETE RIP-OFF. It wasn't even very good. Buyer beware.

Freeport is a very pleasant and quiet restaurant hotel. There is ample seating, the staff are attentive and friendly, music is relaxing, plenty of drinks on tap or in the bottle, and the menu has ample food choices.
There is a daily special everyday, as well as happy hour specials between 4-7pm everyday. I tried the 5.00 craft house lager, and it was quite good.
Today, my server was Veronica and she was friendly, provided great customer service, and had a great attitude.
Overall, great place to visit if you're staying at one of the hotels in the area for a good meal, good drinks, and a good time.
