I cannot express just how magnificent the Freestyle Burger is… a burger with so much beef forward flavour not disguised by its toppings. I was surprised and delighted. If you find yourself at this little paradise oasis in the heart of Calgary… do yourself a favour… get the burger. That is all.
Atmosphere and poolside bar are great, super fun. The food was very disappointing. We ordered the coconut and lime baby shrimp and guacamole/tortilla chips expecting it to be light and refreshing. Both dishes were exceptionally oily and unbalanced. We couldn’t finish either dish and had to order the personal pizza, which was fine. We figured you can’t really mess up pizza and we were right haha. My partner was pretty disappointed with his old fashioned as well.
