Ordered on Uber eats , best choice I made in years ! It came in nice flat tray , exactly how I wanted to be , with extra bread I asked for , and very well pack ! Food was hot because it was well packaged , and deliver with in fast time , even before predicted delivery time! It was also nice and spicy with a lot of heat , so if spicy is not for you please make sure to let them know . Food was simply amazing and I will make sure to go there next time in person . Thank you for wonderful dinner .

Food was truly fantastic! We got the meat and veggie platter and it was more than enough for 2 adults with leftovers to be taken home.

I read a great review and was very excited to try different dishes. I arrived at the restaurant around 3:05 pm. There were only one or two other groups, totalling 4-5 people, and 2 of us.
We placed our order, but I noticed only one lady was working as a server, cook, and cashier. We waited for our food for about 40-45 minutes. I had to leave for work at 4:30, so I couldn't finish my dish.
We ordered one spicy flavour and one mild flavour because my friend couldn't eat any spicy food.
The server brought our dishes without asking or explaining and just poured both of our dishes into one plate. I'm not sure if this is the usual way the food is served, but as someone trying the food for the first time, it wasn't a good experience. It would have been better if she had explained it to us. The dough underneath the meat was kind of sour and very soft, so it became super soggy. I wish I could have used utensils. If this is just the usual food style, I understand, but it's still nice to check up on customers and offer them what they need.
Not coming back, no customer service there, too much waiting time for food, too slow. Good was just mediocre.

My partner and I have been to Geez several times in the past, and we decided to come here for dinner today. This time we did not have a good experience. We ordered gomen be siga (kale with beef), but the portion was tiny and there were two beef bones with almost no meat on them. This dish was $22, a significant amount for what we got. We also ordered shiro, which tasted okay but was very runny (should be thicker). This dish was $18 on the menu, but we were charged $21. When we brought this up with the server, she said that the prices had been updated in the computer but not on the menu. (Unfortunately this is a practice we've encountered at multiple Ethiopian restaurants in Calgary.) We said this was not fair since it is misleading to the customer, and after some negotiating she gave us a $2 refund. We left feeling ripped off and unsatisfied with both the food and the service - we will not be coming back. If the owners read this I hope they address these issues for future customers because this is no way to do business.

This is the worst Ethiopian restaurant I ever saw. The person working was really careless and appeared to check customers, her appearance was so filthy, the house itself was dirty and disgusting. The food was really bad which is not compatible to the price. Overall, I don't recommend anyone to eat at this retaurant

The restaurant was not open at 11 am as stated on their page.

The food is not hot and it looked like it has been in the fridge for a while it has no salt and the enjera is to tick to chew the food was horrible

So delicious ?! So far my favorite Ethiopian/Eritrean food experience ever. Get the meat and veggie combo to try all of their dishes! Everything was so flavorful and perfectly spiced. The injera and homemade cheese were immaculate as well. Highly recommend ?!

It was our first time. Food was good and flavorful. But the service was below average, We saw only one staff there, taking orders, helping in the kitchen, serving food and handling the reception, so it might be the reason to make us wait almost 45 minutes to be served!! Because we liked the food, I'd love to visit again!!

Ordered via uber eats and the food not only arrived hot but was ABSOLUTELY delicious.we got the meat and veggie platter and not only was it a lot of food but it was great flavors! Defs will order again
