Our dining experience at golden cactus was nice. We came here with my family for a pre-birthday dinner. The service was friendly, the ambiance was nice, and the food was good. Everything tasted home cooked, which could be a plus or minus to some. The drinks were good and the horchata was tasty. The seafood wasn’t over cooked and has good flavour. The restaurant itself could do with some sprucing up but other than that it was a vibe.

As someone who craves bold, authentic flavors (I’m usually all about Indian food’s spice complexity), this place won me over. Their tacos? Perfectly spiced! The enchiladas? Slow-cooked with layers of flavor that reminded me of a great curry’s depth.

I could not be happier with the experience here at Cactus! The food was 10000% ! Moises was absolutely amazing & all the other workers, I felt at home and truly felt a good vibe and atmosphere. Now let’s talk about the food & drinks. Food was nice and hot and tasted so good with all the spices, nothing better than food sizzling to your table. BEST Joint in Calgary for Mexican !
