I am currently eating my first ever donair from Golden Market. My only regret is that I will eventually finish it. This is fantastically delicious! And the owner is a lovely man.

Will definitely be back.

Stumbled upon this place. Went in and realized it's all freshly made! A nice surprise for sure. Lots of food for the price the wraps are big. We ate at the table outside and he brought out free slushies for us!!!

They make a wonderful Mediterranean style donair. Nice tart pickled veg that every wrap should have, crunchy slaw, juicy flavorful meat, and a grilled wrap. Get the garlic sauce and spicy. So much flavor!

The wife really enjoyed samosas with garlic sauce as well.

Every other donair store in Calgary claiming to have the best donair is lying through their teeth. This place has the best donair in town. LITERALLY. If you don’t think so, you’re wrong and don’t deserve donair to begin with. Service absolutely slaps too. Gave me free tea because he’s a legend.

All the employees are very friendly and friendly. Shrimp rice is must have.

I was excited to try this little corner store and the small amount of items on the menu excited me honestly because I figured they would do those few items well... However I was disappointed by the very clashing flavours that were put in my shrimp wrap. I knew things were going awry when I saw her put mustard on it.... I'm all for trying new things but the mix of shrimp, garlic sauce, hummus and the yellow mustard were too much. Also, there was only one girl working. She did a good job but wasn't super friendly and I saw her give an eye role to the customer ahead of me when they turned their back. No idea what their interaction was like but just seemed off to me.
