Gong Cha Chinatown - Bubble Tea

Good customer service!

When my sister and I were about to order whoever the staff was infront looked extremely annoyed. He probably rolled his eyes too even his coworker was amused. I was as well cause what was yalls conversation before us ordering. Anyway it's a 3 star because that was more funny than rude and also because north American gong cha has no option for mint tea

Gong Cha is hands down my favorite and the best bubble tea chain out there! I first tried it years ago in Singapore before they even opened in Calgary, and I immediately fell in love. The quality and taste are consistently amazing, with a wide variety of flavors and toppings to choose from. The tea is always perfectly brewed, and the balance of sweetness is just right. Every time I visit, I know I’m in for a treat. If you're a bubble tea fan, I highly recommend giving Gong Cha a try – you won’t be disappointed!

Love their bubble teas. Must try Strawberry Matcha tea

We ordered from the milk tea section a Strawberry Coconut Milk Tea while pointing at the item on the big menu. When we received the drink, it came out as a Strawberry Coconut Smoothie with no tea. When we asked to see if there is a mix up, they told us that this drink contained no TEA. When we questioned why is it on the milk tea section, they said that this particular drink is simply water and powder and refused to admit that it should come with tea. ???? Overall we are very disappointed at our expensive “ powder water “

Don’t get me wrong I love Gong Cha but the customer service at this branch just disappointed us today. My friends and I came to get a few bubble tea’s after a long day of work. However my friend was just not feeling too well, so for this particular day she wanted to get a bubble tea with NO ICE. When she got her drink, her bubble tea had ice in it(despite the label saying otherwise). On top of this, my friend was told that she can HAVE the drink with no ice prior to her paying + tip for the bubble tea. So we asked them if they could remake the drink. But to no avail they declined our request and stated that they couldn’t remake it as milk requires ice. We get that but my friend was told otherwise. They didn’t make an effort to apologize. They could’ve declined our request and apologize and we would’ve just accepted it and went on our way. The lack of effort to solve the matter in hand is just disappointing.

Best boba in Calgary. Always had fantastic service and a good vibe. Generally just really busy and sometimes the music is rather loud but the drinks are simply the best! Large selection as well and staff is exceptionally knowledgeable of the menu.

So much to choose from!! My drink was very good - i got some sort of mango tea that was new, added pearls. Definitely want to come back!

Unfortunately, they didn’t offer a public washroom, and there were no railing for the stairs entryway, so points off for those.

The bubble tea here is pretty good. The first time they made it a bit too sweet which wasn't the best but we asked and they watered it down for us.

Don’t even deserve a one star.It was my first time on this location and the one girl at the back was making faces when i was ordering . The customer service is zero. go get a coco teas instead of coming on this location. I ordered strawberry drink with no ice . I think thats the reason she got irritated.
