I was really disappointed with my experience at Greta on Halloween night (October 31st). My friends and I (a group of eight) bought our after 10 PM tickets for Greta’s Haunted Circus as soon as they were released. We’ve been loyal patrons for years and have spent at least two Halloweens here before, so we were all really excited to come back.
Unfortunately, the night was a huge letdown. We arrived around 9:55 PM, and the line stretched all the way down 10th Avenue—completely mixed in with Spanky’s Saloon’s line, which caused a ton of confusion. After asking around, we realized the line included both ticket holders and walk-ins. We waited for an hour and a half and barely made it to Spanky’s entrance, not even halfway to Greta’s doors.
Meanwhile, Spanky’s had staff managing their line and communicating clearly with guests. Greta, on the other hand, had no one outside providing any direction or clarification. For an event that required paid tickets, the lack of organization was really disappointing.
After 90 minutes with no progress, we gave up and left to salvage what was left of our Halloween night. We never even got to use our tickets or enter the venue—extremely frustrating considering the anticipation and cost.
We’ve always loved Greta in the past, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. I really hope future events are better managed so paying guests aren’t left standing in chaos for hours.

Starting with mackenzie at the front, brandi our server and joey the bartender service was absolutely spectacular. I love a bar with personable people and this is the one, top it off with great games, an amazing atmosphere and good food and it makes for a great night.
