I came to eat at Amihan with my family today with the intention of ordering from the 2 for 26$ deal. The deal is limited to the items displayed on the post, but to my surprise I was told that the meal “Beef Mami” is not included in the deal but is clearly on the post. I had shown them that the meal I ordered should have been part of the deal but they refused to acknowledge their mistake and refused to honour the meal.
Food and customer service, it's an A+ rating. We'll come again💕💚❤️
Disappointed with the quality of foods in our last visit. Pancit bihon was too oily and soggy, and so was the pancit canton. Cakes were all deep in food coloring, too dry, and pricey. Regardless of flavor makes you wonder if you're putting natural food in your mouth. Don't get me wrong. I was a big fan of Amihan when it was newly opened in NE Calgary. The cozy and welcoming ambiance makes it a nice spot to enjoy and unwind. It is a go-to spot for many, with food that never disappoints and great value for money. The food is excellent, very filling, with great prices that come with quantity and quality. A first-time Filipino restaurant experience included pancit palabok, rated 12/10, and the prices were noted as the most affordable in years, with nothing on the menu over $23. However, service can be inconsistent. One visit had only 1 staff taking care of the front, leading to slow service, though that staff member was awesome. Another visit involved no water offered until 45 minutes after serving food, and napkins were not given, causing disappointment after a memorable first visit. Overall, the service staff is often described as incredibly friendly, gentle, and accommodating, with outstanding service from servers like Ralf.
