I ordered the Salmon and Avocado Carpaccio and Miso soup for pickup, so I cannot really comment on the atmosphere. However, the Carpaccio didn't match the menu photo. I don't know if the fish was even salmon, as it was a pale white color! Mystery fish...oh great. The fish & avocado slices were soooo thin, and the sauce tasted very odd. Definitely not a fan. The miso soup was good and was a generous serving, but it's kind of hard to mess that up.
Very disappointed with the quality.

Very nice restaurant . Very tasty food . I have injury in the foot and the back and they accommodate me according to my needs. Very friendly staff . I will definitely visit this restaurant again. Definitely my favourite one . ❤️❤️

My bf and I randomly found this place on a day trip to Calgary. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, great service, good prices on top of good food! Everything we ate was delicious! The interior is really cool with an open roof concept and traditional paintings with every wall looking different but not chaotic, it’s calming. I highly recommend the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Ikusa!

Cool sushi spot! They have a dedicated gluten free menu and soy sauce which is rare. Everything was fresh and food was good! I thought the vibe of the place was the real highlight. Would come back!

I used to love this restaurant until yesterday. My brother and I went there around lunchtime and ordered two ramen bowls and some sushi. We’ve been here many times before, so we know the menu well. The food tasted good no complaints at first — but as I realized later, the sushi wasn’t fresh.

That led to a very serious case of food poisoning. I didn’t eat anything else during the day, and around 2 a.m. I started vomiting violently, with a fever that spiked soon after. I couldn’t stop throwing up, so from 2 a.m. until 8 a.m. I haven’t had a single minute of sleep.

If you care about your health, don’t come here. I hope I recover today and won’t have to go to the hospital

I’ve noticed long waiting times for delivery drivers at this restaurant. The staff seem unresponsive and there’s little communication. It would be great if they could improve their organization and respect for drivers’ time. And been waiting way too long for my order. I don’t recommend ordering online.
