I love this store, it's perfect for stocking up on meat, I find all the cuts for my barbecue and my weekly meal. All the girls are super friendly and I would definitely go back there again.
The cured meats out front are great. Unfortunately you're not given the opportunity to see the other cuts of meat before you purchase. I asked for 2 prime rib steaks, and they just disappeared in the back and came out with the meat already wrapped, weighed it, and sold it to me. I didn't get to see it until I had it home, and it was frozen, which was not what I was expecting.

Have enjoyed shopping at Illichmanns when visiting YYC. Always enjoy the headcheese and liverwurst. The porkchops very tender as well. Also the Latino staff working the counter are amazing and so friendly offering small samples and warm smiles.
