No matter what constructive feedback we have given, the Manager has always been open to listening and has implemented changes over time. Thank you. Wait times can be longer depending on what is ordered. On a recent visit the Manager surprised us with a new dessert, kesari halwa, (not sure of exact name). We have done take out for two birthday parties over the last few years, for lunch and dinner.“

“We had been looking to replace our ‘go-to’ East Indian option, after our longstanding restaurant sold their business (menu change sadly no longer lived up to expectation.) After venturing to try a few new restaurants, we continued to be met with disappointment. It was then recommended by my physio therapist to try Masala Art. And glad we made the trek on a cold winter Sunday night to support small family owned business. We were met with a gracious welcome. Atmosphere was simple, yet cozy. The service was top notch and very attentive. The samosas were fresh and flavourful, sauces were fresh and the Naan was absolutely classic and hot sizzling of the chef’s station. The veg korma vegetables tasted fresh and leftovers the next day, the flavours melded together even better! The staff and chef were inquisitive to the flavour satisfaction amidst our dining, we felt they picked a suitable spice level for our tolerance and were intuitively precise. I hope to see this business thrive as it is well deserved. I recommend even quantity items of samosa as I have a hard time arm wrestling over the 3rd Samosa, lol.“

The food is delectable, tasty, and nicely presented with just the right balance of spices and heat. We just couldn't stop nibbling on the garlic naan bread and tamarind sauce. We recently ordered catering for about 30 people from Curry House Indian Restaurant for our kid’s birthday, and the entire experience was exceptional. The owner, Satish, was warm and accommodating, and the pricing was very reasonable considering the excellent quality and generous portions.

Our menu included spinach cashew pakora, biryani rice, chicken chettinadu, mutter paneer, butter roti, and rice kheer. Every dish was outstanding and received compliments from all our guests.
The spinach cashew pakora, mutter paneer, and rice kheer stood out as absolute favorites.

The spice levels were perfectly balanced, making the food enjoyable for both kids and adults.

I’m never impressed by butter chicken but you’re missing out if it’s not included in your order. The vegetable jalfrezi was fresh, authentic and extremely filling. The prawn curry was packed with prawns and deliciously flavourful. If you don’t order the beef vindaloo don’t even think of leaving less than a 5 star review.
I dated a Sikh man for 3 years and this restaurant would make his mom blush. 100% recommend Raj Palace. I can’t wait to come back to Calgary to order again!“

“Wow. Incredible Indian street food. We had the prawn curry thali with roti and papadam, lentil Dahl, samosa chaat, stuffed puri, and Chole Bhature, and ALL were super tasty and I’d have them again. We stopped here twice on our Calgary foodie trip. Located in a buzzing food market that also sells alcohol for those who want it. Highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, too.“
