James Joyce Irish Pub & Restaurant

Went to the James Joyce Irish Pub on a work break and got beef sliders. I do admit I missed it bsd bacon. I do take blame for that part. However upon ordering I asked my waitress if it had bacon as I absolutely don't eat pork. She assured me that it did not contain pork. Upon almost eating it , I noticed it had what looked like bacon. I asked the waitress and sure enough it was confirmed there was bacon. The waitress was so friendly. She offered to make me another ones without bacon. I had agreed but realized I only had 10 minutes left on my break. I politely asked for a refund. The manager then came with the menu pointing there was bacon written. I left. Sorry this was poor customer service. If you didn't want to refund me fine. But at least say hey next time your in come on in well make it up etc etc. Since that was not done, I will not be back.. Waitress was so nice..management though in my opinion can do better.

Went here for a dinner of 6 people. The waitress was amazing. I have a strict diet and I have to be Gluten free. I ordered a burger on GF bread and it was DELICIOUS 😋 It's hard to find good tasting GF bread, I would highly recommend James Joyce!

Decent Irish Pub on Stephen Avenue. No draught Guinness which was disappointing. They had cans but I went for Nebula on draught which tbh was meh. Good service and I like all the memorabilia. Quietish but it was a Monday night in March!

I love that the first words from the bartender was, “Can I get you a pint of Guinness?”. My kind of place. Atmosphere is authentic Irish pub. Burger was delicious. I was here for a quick lunch.

This is one of my favourite place to hangout with my friends cus I love the overall ambience here. I love the customer service especially Mr.Lee , we love how we treat us with his friendly attitude and his super cool recommendations 😊😌

I had the bacon & brie burger (gluten-free) with a salad, and it was good. A little dry but tasty.
Service was awesome! However, it isn't wheelchair accessible. Staff had to help my brother get past the step outside. The washrooms are downstairs, and the decor is beautiful.
