Julio's is permanently closed. Was a super fun place, but it's a victim of its massive size. Hopefully something great opens in the space in the future.

The atmosphere is awesome, love the vibe and decor. The food was pretty good just a bit on the pricier side. Server double checked our order before she left, I corrected her and said I wanted my Chimichanga with beef not chicken. She confirmed and when it arrived I still got chicken. I didn't bother mentioning it as I didn't want to wait another 20m for it to be made. Not too sure why she didn't have pen and paper in hand. Bulldogs were very good.

Would be a four star but ratig a three. We experienced a great meal on the patio, and the waitress was fantastic. However some attention needs to be paid to their washrooms. The dirtiest and disgusting stalls I had ever seen. Walls look like the had not been cleaned for years. Almost made me lose my dinner.

Great food. Great staff. Love the Bulldogs! Some seriously good drinks and food. Great for all occasions - definitely worth a visit if you enjoy good Mexican food and some exquisite beverages.

The drinks are good and fun for special occasions, but the food is pretty overpriced considering what you're getting. All meals are a vegetarian base and any meat you want with it will cost you extra, which is annoying when you see a burrito that's $15, but really $18 if you want it with chicken. I would recommend this for a fun occasion where you want extravagant drinks and basic Mexican food, but for a casual lunch or dinner, I'd go elsewhere.

It's pretty simple Mexican food but decent enough. The view of downtown on the rooftop patio is worth going for. The service was really good the night we went which made the experience better.

I've been going there occasionally to meet clients for the last eight years and the best part is.... the atmosphere and quality has not deteriorated like other business services in the city! Highly recommended and I love this place!

The food is excellent. The decor and drinks are their best features. Amazing Mexican themes and colors accent the giant fishbowl style Bulldogs. They're great about making your meal gluten free, I had the fish tacos which were about a 3/10 spiciness, and had great sides. The only downside are the prices, but that's Kensington.

Went because of all the reviews. It was actually very disappointing. The food tasted bland. Tried 3 different types of salsa- all tasted like store bought and pulsed down in a blender. Nachos were just ok. Tried burrito, tacos and sample platter. Nothing much to boast about. Only good things about the restaurant was the servers and the ambience.
