Great service and very fast on the fresh food. Miso was very hot and a good amount of seaweed. Rolls were a perfect amount of spicy. Tako was a good-sized portion.

I would not recommend coming here for the following reasons-Service was poor. Waiter seemed miserable-Sashimi slices were thin to the point I can see through it-Softshell crab tempura did not have any seasoning and all I tasted was hot sauce-ran out of food-drinks were flat-atmosphere was just not greatI came here for my birthday and it was a complete disappointment. When I mentioned it was my birthday, the waiter didn't give a care.I'm never coming back here again. I still can't believe I spent $100 here...

Kabuku definitely has a solid market share of the north-end of downtown sushi. A bit more expensive than some in the area, they do offer a more varied menu including the spicy rock prawns. Sashimi was fresh, gyoza hot, and the rolls were fairly tasty and well constructed. My only real critique was the $4 green tea. Kabuku also advertizes as supporting local as much as they can, and a portion of their liquor sales are donated to the children's hospital. All in all, I'd definitely eat again but maybe after payday or for a business lunch.

Whoever gave this place high stars, steered me wrong. It’s not terrible but it’s average and not worthy of the 4.4 stars it currently has. I tried 2 rolls, 3 kinds of tempura and 2 specials (both appetizers)

Chill place with good tasting food. The California rolls don't have your usual crab ingredients so they look a little different.Dietary restrictions: No peanuts or tree nuts here.

Very low quality, grocery store level sushi. Would not recommend going here. It caters to the corporate business lunch crowd.

The best sushi I've had in Alberta the portions are filling and the flavour is wonderful! Every bite of sushi is very well balanced and is properly made. The service is lovely. The staff takes care in making you feel very welcomed. We showed up with no reservation and no expectation as the website request a reservation to guarantee a table and we were treated so very well! Lovely ambiance with soft music perfect for talking and enjoying moments with guests! Can't wait to come back !!!
