Kabuku definitely has a solid market share of the north-end of downtown sushi. A bit more expensive than some in the area, they do offer a more varied menu including the spicy rock prawns. Sashimi was fresh, gyoza hot, and the rolls were fairly tasty and well constructed. My only real critique was the $4 green tea. Chill place with good tasting food. The California rolls don't have your usual crab ingredients so they look a little different.Dietary restrictions: No peanuts or tree nuts here.
The best sushi I've had in Alberta the portions are filling and the flavour is wonderful! Every bite of sushi is very well balanced and is properly made. The service is lovely. The staff takes care in making you feel very welcomed. We showed up with no reservation and no expectation as the website request a reservation to guarantee a table and we were treated so very well!
