I lived in Vietnam for 6 months and I was pretty shocked at how good this pho was. Probably best broth I’ve had in Calgary. Banh mi’s were also delicious. Salted coffee here is just as good as the one I had in Saigon.

Pho broth is incredibly aromatic. But the pickled garlic was just the cherry on top. Also had the green stick rice drink and it was great, but too sweet and a nice salted cream topping on top of it. Highly recommend this place!

WOW! Haiway Kitchen was so so so delicious. The new owner Hai keeps everything fresh with the pho broth made daily. The banh mi’s were super fluffy and flavourful. They have a unique twist to all their menu items.
I tried the specialty pho and ate it with the pickled garlic, along with the specialty hoi anh banh mi.
There’s nothing like this place in Calgary. 100000/10 recommend!

Food 4/5, drinks 2/5, experience 0. We waited an hour for our food and it was just simple subs and pho. They forgot our order and the food came out 15-20 mins apart. We would not come back.

Great addition to Calgarys growing Vietnamese scene!! Northern style pho was so different and delicious. Drinks are unique and yummy as well. Love that they kept the desserts from the previous place. Will be back :)

HaiWay Street Food is hands down the best Northern pho in Calgary! The pho noodles were perfectly tender and soft, just the way they should be, and the broth was absolutely amazing — rich, flavorful, and so comforting. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. I also loved their bubble tea and dessert. Highly recommend if you’re craving true Northern-style pho! Please go try and support them. They deserve more reputation. 10/10

Lovely spot with great staff and unique Vietnamese drinks & food! Tried their French Salted Cream Thai Tea and Green Sticky Rice Milk Tea. Both were delicious but the Green Sticky Rice Milk Tea definitely stood out more. We were also recommended the Avocado & Young Coconut drink which I plan to try on my next visit along with their food.

5/5 ⭐️ Amazing Pho at this brand-new spot – Haiway Street!
Just opened not long ago and I’m already back for round two! The place has a clean, modern vibe with that warm Vietnamese street-food feel—wooden tables, Bat Trang bowls, super inviting.
We went for the beef pho. The broth is crystal clear, deeply flavorful from long-simmered bones, with that perfect spice of Northern Vietnamese style, not overly sweet or artificial. Beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender, thinly sliced, and plentiful. Came piled high with fresh herbs (basil, cilantro, green onions), crunchy bean sprouts. Bowls are huge and generous—super satisfying without feeling heavy.
Sides were on point too: house-made chili sauce, garlic, a raw egg option (mixes in so well).
Prices are fair for the quality and portion size ($18), staff friendly and quick, and since it’s new, it’s not packed yet—perfect time to try before the word spreads!
If you’re craving authentic Hanoi pho with clean, aromatic broth and fresh everything, this is a must-try. Highly recommend! 👌🔥

Really good deserts and portions. Highly recommend sharing the Bingsu if you get it. Probably good for 2-3 people. Nice location, great staff. All of us really enjoyed the Pandan flavour and would order that toast again. Be careful if you have nut allergies as almonds are used as toppings. The Butterfly pea part of the Thai tea/butterfly pea has a very subtle flavour but it's a very pretty looking drink.
If you're looking for Thai desserts on Chinatown/downtown this is a good place to visit!
