We were blown away by the quality of this sushi! The tastiest sushi we have had in Calgary, hands down. The rolls are a good size, the vegetables are crisp, and the fish is actually fresh -- which is a feat, on the middle of the prairies. And they have gluten free soy sauce on hand, plus a selection of GF rolls which was good for the celiac in our group. The restaurant is small and busy so you may have to wait a little while, but trust me: it's worth it. We will be back!!!!

It says they close at 9:30, we went at 8:45, didn’t serve us n told us they close at 9, which is different from all their promotional materials including the hours at their door.

This review is solely on the Spicy tuna and Spicy salmon rolls daily special (16 rolls in total) .

This was my first time trying this place (37th st) it tastes fresh but too sweet. I guess it's the Spicy sauce that's on top but I think it also could be mixed in with the fish. I've never had a roll that was sweet like this, especially salmon and tuna rolls. I would definitely have give it more stars but it's hard to finish.

I would go back to try other rolls but won't be trying these again unless they change the recipe.

Excellent service, delicious food and such affordable prices for high quality Japanese food. The sashimi is fresh and the portions are generous. The tempura batter is light and crispy. Highly recommend the love boat for 4 for the variety, quality and quantity. Overall - I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back often.
