Kimchi house is an OG hidden gem in Calgary that serves no nonsense, quick, korean eats. Well known for their bibimbaps.. the pork and calamari bowl is to die for. Located in a rundown location, kimchi house is not known for the atmosphere but rather the delicious food. This place is always popping off during lunch but is rather quiet at dinner time. If you want affordable quick korean eats with friendly service, this is the spot!

The food here isn’t authentic and doesn’t taste nice. The bulgogi was nothing like what I taste from other Korean restaurants. There wasn’t even any sweet and spicy taste. It was just boiled beef. Other dishes weren’t good either, the rice cakes were not tasty and very minimal on the protein. The place is very dark in a food court. Kinda creepy vibes.
