Wow! I met the owner, she was very accommodating considering how indecisive I was. The fried chicken tasted so good. Size is definitely shareable or when you’re really hungry. The batter, chicken and fries are well seasoned. If you aren’t used to spices, this may not be for you. I loved it though. I was also given a complimentary fried oyster mushroom and I had wished that was part of my first order.
Loved the service and food! Ordered the braised pork combo and king chicken. The braised pork was good, not too strong flavoring. With it came about 5 pieces of popcorn chicken. It had very nice seasoning, crispy on outside, juicy in the middle. Lastly, the king chicken, I loved the salt, pepper, 5 spice seasoning. It was very crunchy, but I wasn't aware it was bone-in, so use caution when taking big bites!

I usually order the chicken nuggets or popcorn chicken and I must say this is my favorite. The spices they use are what I'm looking for in fried chicken.The drinks are ok, nothing to rave about. The basic milk tea are not bad, anything beyond that need improvement - slush was still icy. I removed 1 star for the drinks - after all I was there for the chicken.Pricing I believe is on par with a lot of places in Calgary - it's quite expensive now with quick meals averaging 15-18...read full review
