I really enjoy eating here. Fresh tasty food. Unlike many Indian restaurants, La Jawab knows how to balance Masala and other spices to give the most balanced flavor. Portions are very generous. Highly recommended

We love this place! We drive to Calgary once a year for work from Ontario and we can not wait to eat here. The menu is amazing, with so many dishes. We leave with takeout for days at our hotel. A must-try are the honey garlic cauliflower wings, the Samosa dish Butter chicken is fantastic here as well. Great music and service.

offering a delightful blend of Indo-Chinese Hakka flavors. From swift service to an ambiance that soothes the soul, La Jawab promises an unforgettable dining experience.Guests are greeted with a vibrant atmosphere, amplified by an amazing selection of music that sets the perfect tone for a culinary adventure. The lighting, soft yet inviting, bathes the space in a warm glow, enhancing the overall dining experience. For starters, I indulged in the Pani Puri, a delightful twist on a classic street food favorite. What sets La Jawab apart is their ingenious presentation – the puris come pre-filled with a burst of flavorful goodness, sparing diners the hassle of assembling them themselves. This thoughtful touch not only adds to the convenience but also elevates the dining experience.Next up was the Chicken Tikka. Each bite revealed tender, succulent pieces of chicken bursting with robust flavors. Paired with the green mint chutney, the dish reached new heights of taste sensation. Though the chutney leaned towards a runnier consistency, its impeccable flavor profile compensated for any textual concerns. Finally, I tried their signature Hakka Noodles, a dish that perfectly encapsulates the fusion of Indo-Chinese cuisine. The noodles boasted an explosion of flavors, albeit with a fiery kick that might challenge the uninitiated palate. Yet, despite its spicy nature, the dish proved to be irresistibly addictive, leaving me craving for more.In conclusion, La Jawab offers more than just a meal – it presents an unforgettable culinary journey that marries the best of Indo-Chinese flavors with impeccable service.Vegetarian options: Alot of vegetarian options!Kid-friendliness: A great atmosphere for kids and the entire family!

Edit 2: Just witnessed a teen looking for job 'try out' for 2 days before being given a schedule. If this means work without pay for 2 days, it's illegal as well as unethical. My business at this place is over.By far the best Indian food experience in Calgary so far. Can get busy at times but it reflects the popularity. The attached sweet shop is another must try.Edit: The quality of food as well as service has deteriorated tremendously in the restaurant. The chicken served seem very dry in multiple dishes tried here over the past few months. And the way servers stand next to you when making a payment is simply irritating and rude. The 3 stars are just for the sweet shop here..

I want to share my wonderful experience at La Jawab with great service. Today's drink were amazing, we had 2 of them as recommended by the girl working there. At first, we thought we have troubled the girl who make drinks but she treated us very nicely. I am looking forward to visit again. Thanks !
