We Went to this restaurant with the family as We came from Winnipeg. We were there around 9.05 pm as the restaurant closes at 10 pm We were the last customers as We have two kids with us .After the closing time the employees there were standing with the broom and waiting so eagerly so that we should end up with the food and leave. The service of employees was so rude and disappointing. We want to meet with the owner and complaint but the girl said that he came very less in the restaurant....read full review
Very bad experience, we went to la jawab around 0900 pm. Every single person in the staff was in so much hurry. They want us to order quickly. When we were eating, they were standing there and looking at us as they want us to get out from the restaurant so they go home early. It was so annoying.
Food was good, It was service that makes me mad.

La Jawab Indian & Hakka Chinese Cuisine provides a simple dining experience with basic food that often lacks distinct flavors or standout elements. While the service is quick, it has received criticism for being poor, with some customers noting that orders were forgotten and there was a lack of friendly greetings from staff. The atmosphere, although described as dull, has been appreciated by some for its overall environment. The food includes dishes like Pani Puri, Gobi Manchurian, and Chow Mein, which have faced criticism for rubbery texture or bitter taste. However, the restaurant's vegetarian options, such as paneer tikka, dal makhani, and vegetable biryani, remain highlights. Recent reviews praise the delicious food, with some noting the massive portions and great flavors. The spice level is considered just right, and there is a good variety of dishes to try. Customers have also appreciated the improved carry-out bags and containers, along with the renovated pick-up area. The restaurant's catering services receive positive feedback, especially for the food and specialty drinks like mango mojito served at events. Fans particularly enjoy the ajwain fish Tikka and the new fish pakora, which has been described as the best ever, pairing well with fried rice or noodles for a tasty Indo-Chinese-Canadian treat.
