Ordered chicken karahi and chicken biryani both didnot taste good at all infact the biryani tastes like it was a few days old. The chicken had smell And the rice were hard. V bad experience.

The weather was nice today, and my wife and I decided to try Halwa Puri, which had been highly recommended, by Receptionist / Manager saying it was amazing. Unfortunately, we had a really disappointing experience. I’m sorry to say, but in Calgary, this will be my last choice if I ever want Halwa Puri again. Halwa was tasteless, Chickpeas and Potato Bhujiya really not tasty, like Young girl started making food. Sorry but bad experience. Water Bottle even not clean, not acceptable at all

The quantity of food for the price is very low. We ordered White chicken karahi which was basically just small chicken cubes floating in Oil. Beef seekh kabab were okayish.

This Saturday, my five friends took me to Lahore Hutt as I’m very picky with the choice of Halwa puri and always go to Mirchi. We ordered six Halwa Puri then one of my friend changed his mind and requested a Qeema naan instead. It took them about 30 to 35 minutes to serve us five halwa puri and one qeema naan. When we were about to finish our breakfast, then the waitress brought the sixth Halwa puri, we said that we do not need sixth as we changed it to naan. She was nice enough to take it back, then this lady (probably the owner) came from the kitchen in a hostile manner and said loudly since you ordered six you will have pay for it. She could have said this nicely, I asked her to bring the sixth one and I paid for it but her attitude was very impolite and aggressive that I might think twice before going there again with my family. On a final note, there Halwa Puri was not bad and their place was also nice and clean, they need to improve on their customer service big time.
By far the best halwa puri in town . Chanay ( chick peas) are tasty , creamy and carry a perfect blend of spices . I can safely say that they match real Lahore grade chanay. Halwa is to die for ; and best of all, puri barely drips a drop of oil . Over all 11/10. I give them 1 extra mark for extraordinary customer service .

so today was my second visit just to give them second try... about 1st visit: waited 45 min for Halwa puri then it was served cholay was burnt with black burnt ones can be seen easily along with the smell of burning, halwa wa severed very less in 2 out of 6 plates when asked they mentioned that the serving is normal but when mentioned and insisted then they gave us some more halwa... then one customer start fighting about the service and the lady on the counter apparently the owner start scolding and threw the refunded amount on the floor for the customer to pick... kids were like ... 2nd visit: order 2 plates again waited like 45 mins then it was served no allooo in the Tarkari... went to the counter mentioned that there is no Aloo just salan the lady first mentioned that they make this bhurta like Tarkari but when mentioned that there are Alooos in the other plate but none in this one then she tool the tray inside.. after some times back with the same thing and apologize that the aloo are finished that's they there is no aloo in it at the same time the same lady owner came and also apologized, I asked them they should have told us before serving and kept us waiting then out of my surprise the lady said "you can have the aloo from the 2nd plate as that have more aloo.. like what the "F" customer services is that.... when I start eating the cholay this time they were not done and was hard told them about it but no more trying this place anymore....

Went there to try biryani, fish, kabab, manchurian and chicken karahi. I don’t wanna be rude or anything but food was below average, ambiance is good though no doubt about it. But if they want to survive in NE and in this competitive market they have to up their game. If you are going to use Lahore’s name then make sure you serve the quality food.
