Good paella, much better than most in Spain. Come back to us
What a killer gem! A small and focused menu, lots of options for every type of eater but they are firmly focused on Spanish food and offer some really excellent items! The service is always attentive quick and thoughtful. We love Friday nights with the live music, the guitarist we've seen a few times is really great! They have some fun cocktails and some tasty Spanish wines, also I like that this place is kid friendly but it doesn't feel like the kids take away from the experience. The tapas are delicious and just had the caseless sausage with fries and mustard, it was such a hearty meal! The small open face sandwiches were also all very unique and delicious.

To be honest, the only reason we go to this restaurant is because of the Chicken and Chorizo Paella. We made a reservation (10 People) to celebrate the Birthday of my husband. Unfortunately, one family (4 People) could not make it due to and accident.THE OWNER of the restaurant asked if the other people were coming(As at the end, we end up been 5). We told him, sorry no they cancelled last minute(This are things we cannot control). Then, he comes and complains that due to us, he had to leave people out, that we made a reservation of 10 and only 5 came (Like we were not spending money at the place already). This made my husband so angry, he was not able to enjoy the remaining time there (Not to mention all this happened, even before the food arrived). he wanted to go right after food. We had no apology once o ever.I was going to mention that the other people cancel but we barely had servers coming to our table. (However; when they did, they two girls were great)Even if the place is full, a customer should always feel welcome and well treated. This is really disappointing, more coming from management/Owner. A customer should never be treated that way.

For the price, the food was very good! We had the paella mixto and several tapas. The service was excellent and the food was authentic. The paella was good - there was a nice socarrat and it was big (the paella for 2 is easily enough for 3 or 4 people). The pappas bravas were excellent (the house hot sauce is spectacular - ask for it!) and the fried calamari and garlic prawns were both very good (although the prawns were a little over cooked for my liking). The wine list is very limited but the selections available pair very nicely with the menu. All-in-all it was excellent and a wonderful meal!

Authentic Spanish-Canary Islands cuisine, the owners take great pride in showcasing the food and presentation, NW Calgary Royal Oak. We've been here many times, and have always been impressed with the dinning and cultural experience the owners bring to their business.
Paella and sangria just like in Spain!

Went there on a Friday for lunch.
Food was amazing and we tried quite a few items: appetizers, soup, paella, desert, cocktails.
Everything delicious and portions were very generous.
I certainly recommend everyone trying this place!

Ok, so this is an authentic Spanish restaurant, both the staff on duty today were real Spaniards. The food was amazing, very much like I recall when I lived in Spain. So recommended.

Went for their paella and tried all of them. The chorizo one was the best, while the rest tasted similar. The seafood was slightly underwhelming, but portions were massive. One order of paella could definitely feed 3-4 people. The sangria was so delicious!
