Taste of India (Strathcona Hill)

ordered from this restaurant yesterday, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing this time. The tandoori chicken had a strong smell of reused oil, and the biryani rice tasted like it was reused as well. I’ve ordered from here before and the food used to be really good, but this time no one in the family liked it. Quite a letdown after our previous positive experience.

The restaurant was very lively and had a vibe. Ordered the popular lamb biryani but it wasn’t the authentic Briyani. Lamb tasted like old meat and rice was just flavoured, disappointed with the food.

It seems they have changed the pizza recipe. We recently ordered 3 pizzas, including the spicy meatball, which was one of our favorite pizzas in the city. We've had to throw out half of it as it was inedible. The meat was mushy and overly salty, there didn't seem to be any hot honey, and the basil was burnt. The other 2 pizzas were just ok.

its a great place . Very cozy atmosphere . Very kid friendly . Indian and Canadian food . Bartender is former owner , people live her . Current owners are fun and very friendly . Great cooks . Booths to sit in are very cozy . You can also sit at the bar . There is free pool and darts . Everyone loves this location and find the atmosphete cozy .
