“I have been staying at the Best Western Premier since February 12th. I had a knee replacement and am doing my physio in Calgary. Everyone from the front desk, restaurant and housekeepers have been absolutely amazing! The amount of deliveries I have had from Amazon and Uber eats is embarrassing, but someone always brings me my deliveries with a smile!! I still have a month to go here but it's like a second home for me! Thank you!!!“

“Found the service to be excellent. Food ordered via app (due to COVID no buffet and service to your table) and didn’t have to wait too long. Food and drinks were great. Ordered sea bass with cauliflower and chickpeas, salad, perogies and dessert. Portions were small, but expected in a lounge. Also had wine, cocktail and coffee with Baileys. Plenty of tables or sofa/chairs to choose from. The ones at the back could be excellent for anyone needing a nap.“

“My daughter and I dined at 530pm yesterday, May 24th 2025. We chose to sit in the dining room. We were lead to a table by the fireplace under a great chandelier. The ambiance of Joey Crowfoot is lively and warm. Comfortable seating, perfectly sized tables, and excellent lighting. Our server, whose name I can't recall - tall dark and handsome and a theater major - was attentive and friendly. The food we had was absolutely incredible. We chose goyza dumplings to start which were so flavourful and perfectly cooked. My daughter ordered the hamburger and fries and even with her braces bothering her, she demolished. My blackened chicken with warm potato salad was hands down the BEST meal I've had in a restaurant in a long, long time. I will be dreaming of that salad until I can get back there again !!“

“This airport lounge was a fantastic place to relax before a flight. While the food options were somewhat limited, everything was delivered quickly and efficiently, which made up for the smaller selection. The quality and speed of service really stood out.

The lounge itself was quite clean throughout, with staff consistently walking around to maintain cleanliness and clear tables.

There were plenty of drink options available, along with a wide variety of seating styles whether you’re looking for something cozy and quiet or a more open, social space, there’s a spot that works.

It can get quite busy and packed depending on the time of day but a great option if you have the extra time before a flight“

“Just had the chicken parm rose style and it was the most incredible dish I’ve ever eaten. Next time order it and you won’t be disappointed. You’ll crave it daily,weekly,monthly! My server was Nash and he was the absolute best server experience I’ve had!“

“Not bad for a university pub!! Prices are a little bit on the higher side. They’re comparable with any restaurant in Calgary. The ingredients are fresh, but the service can be a tad. The room is quite dark and loud, but I suppose it’s all contextual for students and faculty members who might be enjoying a lunch or an after work or school drink“

“Our family spent the week here as we visited Calgary and Banff. The location was perfect for being able to easily get onto the freeway and start our adventures for the day. The area also felt very safe and we didn’t have to worry about our vehicle or anything like that. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Rooms, shared spaces and pool were all very clean and well maintained. Our kids spent many hours in the pool! I loved that the hot tub was nice and big! In the rooms, the beds were the comfiest I have ever slept in at a hotel!! Very quiet, and housekeeping was very sweet and helpful, providing however much or little housekeeping we asked for each day. Would definitely recommend and would book here again!!“

“XS lounge food is great. Variety of foods to choose from like eats Indian buffet every day of the week, so authentic and mouth watering. Service are great. Servers are always smiling and very friendly. They are serving greats burgers and steaks as well. I’ll come and dine in with friends and family again. Well done Chef.“

“Likely the best Maple Leaf Lounge in Canada that allows domestic customers. Nice layout and good hours. The fact there is a bartender is great as can get some more interesting drinks. Nice views of the action at the airport and more of a refinded feel compared to other Maple Leaf lounges. Food was fine but could be an area of improvement.“

“Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“

“We stopped by the Wednesday Room for a light meal recently and loved the experience completely. We were met by the host who immediately escorted us to the table we requested. As he seated us, the host outlined the menu organization so we could navigate it easier. After we were seated, Gabby our waitress arrived to go over the menu and drinks options with us. It made ordering easy and efficient. Our food and drinks order arrived on a very timely basis. The food was wonderfully presented. Both of our dishes were very tasty with subtle, unique flavors made in-house (oysters and beef carpaccio were our choices). When it was time to check out, Gabby made the process very efficient and with friendly banter leaving us smiling for the rest of the evening. All the staff we were involved with seemed to be happy and very personable - a drastic change from the plastic, mechanical service we usually experience. Thank you to everyone for a great experience at "The Wednesday Room"!“

“A premium lounge for a VIP experience. This place was by far the best place to view the grand stand show and the Chuck wagon races. The food was amazing the cocktails were creative and very well crafted. Both the chef and bartender were on point. I have seen the grandstand a couple times and it was great. 2019 'trailblazer ' show was absolutely incredible.“

Only thing holding me back from 5 stars everywhere is the tall skinny server girl pressuring me for high tips. I believe it should be my choice how much I tip and not be pressured how much I tip. Was not a fan of her attitude shift because of that as well. But overall fantastic place to go out and vibe.“

“We recently hosted an event here and we were very happy with how accommodating Regency was with everything. They were extremely transparent and supportive in helping us organize our event at their venue.

Their food was amazing and I am glad that as a vegetarian they were very accommodating for me and the other people with dietary restrictions.

Food: excellent - top tier.
Service: very good - have had occasional time when it’s slower, but still better than 90% of restaurants out there.
Atmosphere: great but also subjective - it can be noisy when it’s busy. But that can’t be helped. It’s diners enjoying their night out, laughing and visiting.

Overall this is the best restaurant in the deep south of Calgary.“
