Montana’s BBQ & Bar

I specifically reserved this for my husband‘s birthday. The hostess made a note on the table that it was a birthday celebration I made a comment about the birthday dessert. The waitress didn't acknowledge my husband's birthday whatsoever. We picked this restaurant because that's where my nine year-old wanted to have his happy birthday lunch, super disappointed, and how that was handled

Four of us for Father's Day. Everyone really enjoyed their meals except me. My baked potato was larger than most so it wasn't fully cooked, I didn't say anything to the wait staff as it was a super busy day and they don't have time to check every potato. My ribs were very tasty, my wings were bigger than I expected, which was a bonus, but they were saucier than I like. There was enough cooked potato and ribs that I was able to eat my fill. I would go again, just order something different.

Sagar our server was great, we were there for my brother's graduation, and he made sure we were all looked after and we had no dirty plates on the table, he was quick and friendly. 👌

I don't know if it was cause we are native but it took like 15 mins to get our drinks once the server got our drinks we told her we were ready to order she told us hold on didn't come back for another 15-20 mins to take our order, there were only us and two there on the bar side so it wasn't packed at all. Than it takes more than 35 mins to get our food. We got to montana at 9 sat down at 904 and didn't get our food till 10:10 after closing. Usually it's always great no issues but our server today. The manager was nice but not the server Ash

The appetizer was absolutely delicious and the service was incredible. Shoutouts to Ty and Aurelie!

Splendid people. The ribs were so tender and juicy along with the creamy spinach dip. 10/10 restaurant. ❤️

Thanks for the fun night out Montana’s. A shout out to Tyler who was very patient with us. Our table was very demanding with lots of twists and turns and he responded well. When they didn’t get it quite right they corrected it. That’s the sign of a well run establishment.

Montana restaurant is and always has great customer service

I rarely write negative reviews but I felt that it was important to notify the management of our recent dining experience at Montana's .On May 26, 2025, my husband and I took our 3 years old granddaughter for dinner at the 130 Ave SE location. We quickly realised that our waitress had little interest in engaging with us and our granddaughter. Her communication skill was limited but we thought that things would improved once we had ordered our meals. Our meal was by far one of the worst dinner we've had . My husband ribs were over cooked, baked potato was cold, corn bread dry . My fajitas were tasteless and the add on guacamole was terrible. The best dish was most likely the frozen pizza ( extremely hot) my 3 year old granddaughter received for her dinner. Our waitress brought the bill after our meal making no effort to make conversation or asking us about our experience. My husband gave her a tip ( as we usually do ) and she didn't even bother thanking us for it or attending your establishment.
We will definitely not return to any Montana's in the future.

We had an amazing experience. My husband and I sat in the bar and our server was Peyton! She was on the ball and super accommodating with split meals and cheerful service! Also, the Texas Trash Pie is pretty darn good!😋

Food was great. Service was even better. All the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Food was good. Service not so much. Not informed about the cost of every little add on, for example adding cheese to a child's piece of garlic toast in kids meal was an additional $1.00 for a sprinkle on it! Also loaded baked potatoe was only a bit of bacon crumbs & green onions for an additional $3.00 charge! We were celebrating a birthday & had put that in comments for reservation, had to ask our server Zoe, about it & she just brought over a dessert for the birthday person did not wish her happy birthday or anything! Yet, 2 tables from us, staff came out with a dessert & sang happy birthday there.

The experience was great. It was a little chilly but that is understandable considering being a part of the food industry, and the kitchen gets very hot. 

We usually go every Friday and to be honest we have the best person serving us, over and over. We are grateful as she is quite good at our job.

Great service w/ Shane & Ashley. Couldn't have been any nicer & that goes along w/ the kids up front. Welcoming & very attentive. Such a pleasure compared to so other restaurants.
