Mr.Sub

I have never felt so unwelcomed in an establishment as I have tonight. My husband and I went in at 5pm, there were two people ahead of us which we did not mind but the woman working immediately snapped at us that it would be a while because she’s alone and it’s so busy. We assured her it was okay, and we didn’t mind waiting. When the customers in front of us left, she proceeded to complain about how awful they were for coming in an hour before close to order four subs, then also made comments about how we were there “so close” to her closing. After a solid three minutes of complaining about the previous customers, and also about her wage and hours, she asked what we wanted. My husband ordered his sub to which she had something to complain about for each thing he asked for. She complained about the place being so disorganized, then about how ridiculous it was that she needed to wear gloves, then asked my husband if he would like his sub toasted to which she scoffed, said “good luck” and informed us she already shut off the oven. Our thought was, why ask if it’s already off? She then offered to grill it and said it burned the previous customers sub so he’s better off not, but after my husband said yes it’s okay I would still like it grilled, she was very upset. I then had the chance to order my sub to which she rolled her eyes at me over my bread choice, was very irritable with me over ordering a Caesar sub because in her words “no one ever orders this I don’t even know what’s on it”. She was groaning throughout the whole process of making my extremely plain sandwich to which I only asked for lettuce on it because I was too uncomfortable to ask for more, didn’t offer to grill it even though she offered it to my husband, wrapped it up, threw it in the bags and rang us through without asking if we wanted anything more. I did plan on ordering sides, and a beverage but this woman made us so uncomfortable that we just wanted to get out of there. This is our second time at this Mr. Sub, it was phenomenal the first time but after today, I don’t know if we will be going back.

This location is great too! The bread is always fresh and they’re always generous with the toppings.
The staff are also very friendly and warm.

Unfortunately I will not go back to any mr.sub . It use to be our favorite place for subs for over 15 years but I will not be harassed by homeless inside the store and the management did nothing so my family will find somewhere else to go . It saddens me . But it is what it is. Lost our business. We tried Fire house subs and wow 10 times better than mr.sub

the cheese bread looks disgusting with huge airbubbles that have split open. there are 2 things that can cause it,under mixing or overproofing. this has to be deliberate because its a known issue with cheese bread. probably not a franchise issue but with Mr. sub itself. Mr. sub is probably using a different supplier for cheese bread or has changed the recipe. large airbubbles are caused by too much water, too much yeast or humidity issues with the cheese. To prevent the large airbubbles to poke a few small holes in the dough before baking which is not being done. smoked meat is a sweet type which I think might be coming from Europe because in Canada we don't have sweet smoked meat.

Mr. Sub is so superior to Subway. Their sandwiches are fresh and flavourful without that nasty Subway taste that infects everything.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Told me about the app 2 days before my birthday so i could get in on the free stuff.
Doesn't have to be this location, but do yourself a favour, go to one. Ditch the other guys.

Rolled in here late on a Friday evening with my son. The place was spotless, the bread and ingredients were very fresh and the two ladies working were so friendly. This may be the best Mr. Sub that I’ve ever been to.

I was very impressed with this Mr Sub shop!! The staff was super friendly, the restaurant was clean and the food was great! All ingredients were fresh and the variety was great! They offer ingredients not found at other subway places like sauted mushrooms, ect. Plus they had yummy bread choices and the cost was decent.
AND they are a CANADIAN business!!
I highly recommend checking them out!

Lady was nice. The bread and veggies by far made for the worst sub I've ever had though. At $13.53 for this sub - It better be good. And the last few times I've gone the price goes up and the quality goes down. The inputs on this kind of fast food are sooooo low too. Dude bread and basic veggies. You're trading pinched pennies for dollars that stop showing up from return customers. Grow up. Can walk across the street and get an infinitely better sandwich, a Vietnam Sub, with real meat and bread even, for almost half the price.

Ordered a sub from here today, the bread was very dry and the jalapenos were also very dried out. There was also only sauce on the ends of my sub and not in the middle?
