Extremely disappointed in the food and the customer service. To start, we waited 45mins-1hour for our food. We ordered tenderloins cooked different temperatures then each others. It came out mixed up and couldn’t be switched due to the sauce on the steak. The steak was luke warm and the potatoes were very hot. Indicating to me that food sat on the warmer for quite some time. The tenderloin was chewy and dry. We brought up our concerns and were offered to have it re-cooked. Due to personal time restraints, this was a non option for us. We had the meal comped 25% and got the $7 mushroom for free. Yes, we did eat the majority of the meal but not before complaint was made. We waited a long time for food and were starved. The follow up time waiting for the manager to come address the issue was long. We watched the manager stand at the bar, making small chat with what seemed to be a friend.

Delicious food and cocktails. Appetizers, main course, and dessert were outstanding!

New menu is a major downgrade. Calamari was soggy from bed of sauce and lacked flavor. Pizza had very little toppings and the service was sub par. The pesto gnocchi was the only decent dish. Big disappointment when compared to their summer menu. Cactus Club is a much better option for a $200 meal for two.

First time there. Wife was there 20 years ago so looking forward to it after moving to Calgary. Server told us it was her fist time opening a corked bottle of wine. Interesting. Meal arrived fine but cutlery was behind by just a second. Used my appetizer fork instead of the desert fork that was provided for steak though. Was given the wrong bill upon cash out...that was fixed after an adjustment but we were trying to catch a show. Not what we expected for a place with its perceived atmosphere.

One of our favourite places to eat! The dining room is a unique outdoor brought inside feel with all the brick and stone and skylights. Great food and great cocktails.

Great location as we were staying at the Fairmont. Food was good, risotto a bit under cooked, salmon was delicious and the appetizers were very good. Everyone loved the mixed cocktails.

Today's experience has been quite surprising and disappointing, to say the least. I've taken clients here for lunch and dinner before and never had an issue like this. Hence why I'm giving it a 2-star instead of anything lower. The soups we ordered as appetizers came out quite quickly, but they were cold - even the condiments arrived faster. However, there is no reason why the "Express Lunch", a burger with fries, and a cobb salad should have taken over an hour to arrive. The service was so slow that we had to get all of our food to go without even being able to touch it.

The ambience and the servers were amazing. From an experience point of view I think this place is awesome. The food was a bit of a disappointment, but none the less was an enjoyable experience.

Overall disappointed as the food quality was below what we have previously experienced at Murrieta's. The starter was very good but the main course for us and our guests was very average which should not be acceptable for this restaurant. The service was good, very pleasant waiter and hostess. Very disappointed in my order for a beverage. I wanted a non-alcoholic beer, (designated driver) menu provided 3 options, 2 quality brands and 1 low quality. The 2 quality brands were out of stock, poor waiter had to keep going back to the bar on each notification on the out of stock. As this was a Friday night, you'd think the bar would be fully stocked. I declined the low quality option for a cranberry and soda..... My wife required a gluten free option as she is Celiac. She order a GF main course, however the meal was delayed due to the kitchen accidentally adding flour to the risotto. This was caught in time, but delayed all our meals as the dish had to be started from scratch. Appreciated the update as to why the meal was delayed.....however it leaves a concern going forward on ordering a GF option. Thank you

Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The food was good and arrived fairly quickly. Fish tacos were good but more batter than fish. Salads were fresh and tasty. Pasta was good. They were out of one of the white wines by the glass (apparently wine Wednesday depleted their stock). The atmosphere in the main dining area is lovely and has a European feel. Overall, a very nice dining experience. Murrietta's remains a fabulous option for group lunches or dinners.

Could be a great spot if the staff had some social etiquette or a personality. Food was greasy and oily, not what industry standard is for the price point. Cocktail was served in a dirty glass with foul odour.
