Good service, the chicken sandwich was not great, not enough chicken, too much coating and sauce. some bits were just coating. we had two the same.

Haven't been to Murietta's Calgary in many years, but we went for a post theatre dinner last week and the food was as excellent as it always was. I used to go there a lot on business but this was with friends and all enjoyed it. Very convenient for the theatre also. Had my old favourite and the spaghetti and lamb meatballs was still very very good.

Always great, one of my go to places to bring clients. Staff, environment and food is always great.

Really lovely environment, our server was lovely (can't remember her name sorry) I feel the food would've been nicer had it been busier?... if that makes sense. The restaurant was very quiet only my group was there, The food wasn't hot hot more warm than fresh out the oven but overall was lovely :)

What a great dining experience! We were looking for a date night spot & decided to head back to Murrieta's. It has been a while since our last visit. It was a great decision!

I dine three or four times a year at Murrieta's, and each visit is more enjoyable than the previous one. I arrived ahead of time, and was warmly greeted; my coat was taken and I was seated in the great space that is the main dining area. Perhaps because I am something of a regular, the staff presented me with a little note. My friend arrived and we had a great meal: she had salad and gnocchi, I had calamari and a New York striploin. The only possible "complaint" we could muster about the food was that the salad was quite huge. Service was extremely attentive without being overbearing. Upon arriving I mentioned that we needed to leave at a certain time, and the staff made sure we had regular reports on the time. Service of the food and drinks was really good. What can I say other than this was a top-rate meal, and I look forward to my next visit to Murrieta's.

We celebrated our elopement and they brought us glasses of champagne! The staff was very friendly and the service and food were outstanding!

Restaurant has a welcoming vibe, staff were friendly and attentive. The scallop fettuccine was amazing, would definitely visit again for this dish. Great selection of wines too, highly recommend this place.

Were pleasantly surprised that oysters were on special for our date night, but also at the fact that when asked for our water preference that we were not informed that the still or sparkling options were $9 each!! Entrees were fantastic although my spaghetti nore could have used a touch more salt. Overall a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back.

We hadn't been to Murietta's in a while and were surprised to find the dining room was very brightly lit with loud music playing. We opted to sit in the lounge which had more appropriate lighting but still had the loud music. Not a good atmosphere if you want to enjoy a good meal with conversation. My Arctic char was okay but overcooked and dry, apparently to ensure the skin was crispy, not something I planned on eating. My husband's starter salad and lamb meatball spaghetti were tasty but no lamb taste, just the tomato sauce. Service was friendly and prompt.

Our first time in Calgary & it was our 30th anniversary. I had NO idea where to eat for such a special occasion in a town I've never been to. After a week in Banff NP, we spent our last night near the Calgary airport to catch an early flight the next day. I'm a wine snob & my wife is a foodie/registered dietitian/published recipe editor. To say we're not easy to please would be a massive understatement! Consequently, we don't eat out very often. Murrieta's blew us away! Great wine list, unbelievably creative/delicious menu & wonderful service! The staff was so genuinely welcoming and we made a new friend in Daisy. We'll be back!

My husband and I visited for our anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Despite the restaurant being completely empty, we were seated in the middle of the courtyard rather than at a more private table. The atmosphere didn’t help either, the music jumped from the Grease soundtrack to “I’m Blue (Da Ba Dee),” which felt out of place for what should have been a romantic dinner. We ordered the calamari, which arrived soggy and greasy, and while the drinks were fine, they were overpriced. For one glass of wine, a pint of beer, and the calamari, our bill came to $60 with tip. We ultimately decided to leave and continue our anniversary dinner elsewhere.

We were really looking forward to the meal as we like the Canmore Murietta‘s and have always had good meals there. Unfortunately the service was very poor, the waiter kept forgetting about us. The food arrived and the seared Caesar salad was hardly seasoned (we had to ask for more dressing) and the tenderloin was served overdone and French fries were so soggy, we didn't eat them. The tempura prawns were on a bed of risotto that was not al dente but al hard. Didn't eat it either. There were only three tables of guests, in the large cavernous room...now I know why!

Great food and service. So glad to see they have Burrowing Owl Wines. They know what theyre doing.

I was surprised that it was on the second floor. That allowed it have a total skylight which gave a nice ambiance on a summer eve. Very near the Fairmont Palisser Hotel. Good food and moderate prices.
