First time visitor. Love the ambiance , decor and space. The friendliness and service were impeccable. The food and drink were delicious and unique. I will be back. Loovveee
Checked this place out on a whim before a dinner reservation and I am in love. Giant cozy spaces to curl up and read a book, drink a curated tea or do a puzzle. Incredibly calming atmosphere. 10/10 will be back
so sweet, they immediately asked if it was my first time and gave me a sweet lil run thru of everything. and litr as soon as i sat down greeted me with a smile and a glass of ice water 🥹🥹
the place was soooooo cozy there were puzzles and colouring stations, chess, a piano, books, board games, the nicest decor and comfy couches with outlets near by, and a lovely selection of songs playing (shoutout to whoever was on aux u have great taste 🙂↕)....read full review

Heliopolis is a restaurant and cafe in downtown Calgary with a breathtaking sight but it is not necessarily safe, as frame perfects are everywhere. The space is beautifully decorated, and seats were available on a Friday night without a reservation. The atmosphere features smooth jazz and a calm, relaxed setting, with a gentleman playing the piano. The Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes, from small plates to mains, are absolutely delicious, though the menu is a bit limited. The Espresso Martini was good. The staff is very friendly, service is 10/10, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. This eclectic spot has tons of spice and soul, a unique and welcoming vibe, and is a cozy place to converse without feeling cramped. It is a must visit.
