Greeter was friendly and professional. Staff behind bar who served me were above industry standards. Food was better than one would expect from Calgary compared to more affluent city centres. Atmosphere was good for the area. My recommendations would be the spacing in the bar area with the tables and stools at bar side especially. We went for Valentines Day and had rhe $75 special meal. The chicken and strip steak were very good, however the fish and the duck were a big fail. Service was slow and a bit inattentive. It was our first time here and the firat impression wasn't enough for us to think about a repeat visit.

I felt the atmosphere is great. Service was average. Unfortunately I had the steak tartar with the raw egg ONTOP of course that’s how it served but that evening I threw up nonstop and felt horrible for 12 hours. Definitely got food poisoning as this was the only meal I had this day. Kind of a shame. I think there are restaurants in Calgary I would visit again but guild wouldn’t be one of them. Service was very average nothing drawing me back in and food made me sick?
