“The Business district Calgary Vintage Chophouse is truly an astonishing place to dine. I had the enjoyment of attending a company celebration, and we received their exclusive private room for a full night. With more than 20 seats my business cohort and myself had a great time. The service is impeccable, the scenery is grand, and the food is spectacular!“

“Just had an incredible experience at Buchanan's Chop House in Calgary for my husband's work Christmas party! 🌟 Katie provided top-notch service, and the food was beyond amazing. “Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“

“I tried Modern Steak since my mom was craving a halal burger and they have a wagyu burger option. We were seated quickly without waiting even though it was busy. The wait time was a little long and it was a little hard to catch our waitress, but I don’t blame them since it was busy. I got a halal ribeye steak and it was cooked just right. The quality was also worth the price. The wagyu burger in my opinion was a little lacklustre, but wagyu is always best simple so it was alright. The star of dinner was the Baked Alaska. Absolutely delicious. I would come back just to eat the Baked Alaska again. Definitely recommend for steak and just to try the Baked Alaska.“

“Wow. I'm from out of town and searched for good restaurants near the Marriot that I could walk to. I have to admit, the outside had me questioning my choice to dine here BUT when I walked in..... very nice atmosphere. The food..... AMAZING. I had the Alfredo pasta with blackened chicken. It may just be the best pasta dish I have ever had. Fresh and delicious.
Leanne was lovely too.
Highly recommend. There were several delicious sounding items on the menu... I had a hard time choosing.“

“Allison and the hostess were amazing! Allison very accommodating, attentive and brought us a nice Lemon cello quick dessert drink! The smell walking into this restaurant was amazing. Cedar fire reminded me of being in the mountains. Definitely recommend!“

“Absolutely phenomenal experience! My husband and I have been there twice and were just there for our anniversary! Both times we had Andy as our waiter and we couldn’t be happier! “Had a great lunch experience at The Guild! The customer service was excellent—the staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. We especially loved the pet-friendly patio and how welcoming they were to our dog.
The restaurant has a beautiful, clean, and upscale ambiance. The food we ordered was just okay, but perhaps we didn’t choose their best dishes. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily come back!“

“Wow!! What an amazing dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was perfect: friendly and welcoming. The meal was the best meal we have had in a long time. Every bite was seasoned beautifully, and their house made meats to start, yummy. As a huge fan of Top Chef and Top Chef Canada, we finally made it to Top Chef Connie’s restaurant. Thank you John for taking the time to talk with us, truly a wonderful evening. Definitely will be going back.“

“My second time in Calgary was nothing short of perfection. Last year I dined here for my birthday and when the thought of what to do rolled around this year, flying to Calgary seemed both extra, and hilarious. But it stuck. Saltlik, you outdid yourself. I’ve been thinking of the Beeswax Old Fashioned for 366 days and it just hits the spot. Victoria B.C. hasn’t latched onto it yet but it’ll come. Dinner was exceptional but the real star or the show was Trevor. Exceptional service is becoming an almost lost art and this guy has it. His energetic read on the table and tailored charisma is what 90s career servers were made of. The kind of server who questions himself “how do I elevate this experience?!” And then executes. His tag team with Chris to make this birthday nothing short of Calgary perfection is exactly why we ended up here. Thank you for making us feel special, our dinner incredible and leaving us with yet another Saltlik memory for the books. Thanks over many thanks. We will see you again!“
