“Tried Class Clown a few days ago. Heard all the hype and it is a really good spot.
Service and atmosphere are great. Love the feel of the restaurant.
Food was good overall. I had the California burger or whatever it's called. Great burger, but sauce wasn't as good as I've tried. Fries I had the spicy ones and they were not my fav. Fries themselves are good but the toppings weren't as good as I'd hoped.
Probably second fav burger spot after Bastion Burger in the city.“

“First time here, I came for the dine in special. Went for the Fun ghi pizza, so generous with the mushrooms. I mean most places are pretty skimpy. Crust was light, crispy and everything was delicious. The server was excellent and very professional.“

“This place is amazing. We first had aperitivo, then pasta and finally dessert. Everything was simply amazing. Aperitivo we had arancini and meatballs with Aperol Spritz, great price on the happy hour menu and wow that tomato sauce was amazing!! The pasta fileja was so delicious, we ordered one boscaiola and one with nduja, both excellent!!! Dessert - tiramisu and bombolone gelato, paired with the suggested cocktails, another success! The whole experience was so good that I can’t wait to be back and try something else. Also the servers were amazing and Biagio very friendly! Perfect date!! Grazie! 🙏“

The Champagne section reads like a grower champagne social club: Agrapart, Roses de Jeanne, Delamotte, Roederer (practically a grower).
Quite a lot of rare wines here, including a Suenen Robarts - how did this rarity travel all the way from France without anyone having drunk or stolen it?
Cold cuts, sardines and cheese served, the place is full of young young, smiling people listening to unobtrusive music.
Make sure you find the stairs from the street level to get here.“

“This was my first time at modern steak and I am sure super impressed, I am a foodie and surprised I have not tried this restaurant.
However, service is top notch, I actually enjoy this place more than chairman’s 🤫
I highly recommend the tomahawk steak and king crab, went amazing together
Andrill was our server, he was wonderful but mostly appreciate there team to ensure great service! The manager came over checked in super nice and welcoming staff! I appreciate the amazing service and meal! I will absolutely be back very soon!“

“The Business district Calgary Vintage Chophouse is truly an astonishing place to dine. I had the enjoyment of attending a company celebration, and we received their exclusive private room for a full night. With more than 20 seats my business cohort and myself had a great time. The service is impeccable, the scenery is grand, and the food is spectacular!“

If the five of us, two adults, two teens and a child, believe it's some of the best food we have had, this place deserves a 5 star review.
We had rib eye, black angus queso dip, steak fried rice, wagyu dumplings.
DELICIOUS.

“Great service! It just finished raining they were more than happy to make sure our table outside as per request was wiped dry they also turned the heater on for my girlfriend since it was a bit chilly for her in a dress, the Food was amazing we ordered the prawns as an app and a pizza each(which was more than enough) and we were not disappointed along with two 1/2L UNA house reds we left full and quiet content 😉“

(Their award winning Vegetable Quiche is my second favourite dish). I paired the pie with their delicious Sweet Potato soup and had Gravity’s Coffee flavour “Insomnia”. It was pay what you want for the coffee day. I cannot rave more about this place. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming. The owner, Andy is so supportive of myself and other local Musicians. There is an amazing Jazz Jam here on Sundays from approximately 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. (Don’t quote me on the time though.) This place is awesome!“

Had a birthday party asked them to split the bill between the guests, lied and said they would but rather put the entire bill on one with a 20% gratuity. The ravioli is disgusting and the manager, Brye needs better management skill. Better places to wine and dine.“

“Yummers!! I wanted oysters and I got it! Definitely took advantage of their oyster of the day. I recommend having the oysters with lemon, tabasco, and top them off with their house relish (you need to ask for it, it is free)! We also tried their menu of the day, a pasta dish, which, for the price, was kind of underwhelming. The interior was really cute, perfect for a date!“

“Ordered a Margherita pizza and fried mozzarella while enjoying a slightly elevated state of consciousness. The driver got lost and took an extra 20 minutes to find my apartment, so I fully expected a soggy, lacklustre arrival.
Instead, the fried mozzarella showed up outrageously golden, crunchy, and cheesy. Highly recommend drizzling some honey and extra maldon salt on those bad boys. The sweet, salty, creamy combo was fabulous.
If Una starts selling these by the bucket, I may never know peace again.
The pizza was excellent…but the mozzarella changed me as a person. 5/5.“

“The duck breast was 10/10! perfectly cooked and beautifully balanced with the wild rice and sauces and I enjoyed every single bite of it. The beef tenderloin wasn’t really my thing, but the tiramisu was a fun little surprise and definitely worth trying.
The setting is lovely, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. My only gripe was the service… our waitress was warm with other tables but noticeably much cooler toward us. It was hard to ignore, especially since we’d just come from two other Calgary restaurants the day before where the hospitality was genuinely outstanding and neither of those were even fine dining. That contrast made it sting a little more.
Would’ve been a solid 5 stars otherwise.“

“I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I wanted to share this experience in the hope that it can be used as constructive feedback.
Unfortunately, the service during our visit fell short of what we expected. Our server was kind and personable, but it took quite a while before we were greeted, and our water glasses weren't refilled until after we had finished our appetizer and were almost done our main course.
My pasta arrived only lukewarm, and I had wanted to ask for fresh pepper, but our server didn't return to the table and we weren't able to get her attention. I was also never asked if I would like another glass of wine, and we waited approximately 12 minutes for our bill at the end of the meal.
I understand everyone can have an off day, and my intention isn't to get anyone in trouble. I simply hope this feedback can be used as a learning opportunity. A few more table check-ins and a little more attentiveness throughout the meal would have made a big difference.
We truly enjoy UNA and will absolutely be back, which is why I wanted to share our experience. We've always had exceptional service in the past, and I hope this was simply an off night.“

“Heard a lot about this restaurant - visiting from out of town. From the outside the restaurant looks big and would be your typical busy eating establishment, but the tables were arranged so it didn't feel overcrowded. The bar/kitchen set up was very unique. Definitely going back on my next trip back.“
