The staff is nice.
The lemon cake 🍰 is 10/10.
But the tea is bagged, and they brewed it with the little paper tag still attached.
So I’m giving three stars,
The plastic spoons also didn’t impress me.

Overall, not bad.
The lemon cheesecake was delicious.
The staff was friendly.
Unfortunately, the tea was weak and very diluted. I didn’t expect it to be bagged tea — for that price, I would have preferred loose-leaf tea. It’s better to have a smaller portion but higher quality.
The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, but very outdated.
I also didn’t like the disposable spoons — it would be better to replace them with regular ones.

A true hidden Gem, if you want some fresh baked muffins go here. Great coffee? Go here

We had 4 of the muffins the Macha green bean paste one and banana ones were so good,

Coffee was fantastic, the white girl in me came out and naturally had a PSL and it was far better then any big store coffee.

Super quiet and below ground setting feels really cool watching people walk by above you on the street.

Highly recommend if you are in the area, the owners fresh bake the muffins so get there right as it opens!

One of my favorite spots in Calgary. I work nearby and make an effort to stop here before my day starts or during a break. It is hard to not want to come in for a second time after my day ends. The people who work there are some of the kindest individuals. Aside from the amazing drinks and baked goods at this cafe, they are the reason I keep coming back. Over the summer they memorized my regular order and would always ask if I wanted it when I came in. Their seasonal drinks are crafted with care and become instant favorites for me. Over the summer the Lychee Espresso was my go to and during the Autumn the Pumpkin spice has been my top choice. The Muffins are absolutely amazing and come at a discount if you order with a drink which is so lovely. The Red Bean Matcha is a popular choice with my favorite being the Banana Chocolate. I have friends who swear by their cheesecake as well. They are open late and have such a cute and intimate space. The decor is wonderful and vintage, they even have a small spot for vendors to sell handmade products. I can only imagine how cozy it will feel as we get closer to Winter but I am already loving the atmosphere during the Autumn and found it energizing over the Summer. It is such a wonderful study spot too. It is usually quiet and there is quite a bit of seating for the size of the cafe. I feel it is perfect if you need to be creatively inspired and it would be my choice spot for doing some sketching or any other art. If you are around Chinatown this is a must try! I can't say enough good things about this place.

Really loved the lychee espresso soda from their summer menu. I came back multiple times to get it! Their yuzu cream soda was good too!

I love love love their matcha white chocolate muffin! It's the best muffin in the city. Their summer deal was buy a drink, get a baked good for $2.50, which is such a good deal.

The staff is really nice and can speak cantonese and english. The space is clean and relaxing. The decor is homey and it's a nice place for pictures.

Best cheesecake in town hands down. And excellent coffee with a surprisingly relaxed atmosphere. Makes a great respite from the hectic nature of downtown.

One of the cutest cafes I have ever been to in yyc. Lives up to it's name - hidden corner - because it sure is a hidden little gem! The baked goods and drinks, the decor and little vendor corner - everything screams vintage cozy vibes.

Amazing for a friendship hang, a date, or a quiet day journalling by yourself.

If this cafe opened near me in the United States I would go everyday! We ordered the hojicha latte and earl grey einspanner and both had very rich tea flavors. The matcha red bean and white chocolate muffins were yummy too. The staff is very friendly and warm. This is a great spot to catch up with a friend, very cozy and unique. Thank you!! 🙏🫶☺️
