I always look forwards to coming in on weekends as my favorite host is always working. I was very disappointed when I came in last weekend and she wasn’t there. She instantly turns my day around when I’m having a bad day and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone as happy and enthusiastic to see me ever in my 34 years of living. I think that she would be really please to see this review. Thank you taya! You’ve really changed the restaurant game for me.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but this weekend we were visiting Calgary from Vancouver and at the last minute decided to find a place to watch the Oilers game. We went to the National on 17th, but didn't think to make a reservation. The place was packed, and we were just hoping to grab a spot at the bar.

When we walked in we were just standing there and initially felt like we were being passed over and started to feel a little frustrated....

Had a great time at National on 17th! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively and fun, and I especially loved the patio. Their happy hour deals were a great bonus, definitely a perfect spot to relax and catch up with friends.
