One of the best Mexican restaurants in Calgary. An ever changing menu of delicious food makes this a place to return to and it has never disappointed in all the times I have been there. Located perfectly for a meal and a night out. It's atmosphere speaks to the casual but yet can cater to a more up-scale. Perfect for an intimate date night, a casual dinner, a group function, a quick bite or a social meetup.
Milpa was an absolutely amazing surprise easily one of the best restaurants we tried in Calgary!
The atmosphere is cool and welcoming, the cocktails are delicious, and the food is simply incredible. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. Honestly, everything we tasted was outstanding.
A huge thank-you to Amar for the exceptional service, always delivered with a genuine smile. He made our experience even more memorable. A very big WOW!

Our first time at Milpa, and we are already making plans to return. We ordered the tomato salad, quesabirria taco, beef tartare, and tuna tostada, along with two cocktails. Although my cocktail (La Botanista) was not my favourite as it was not savoury enough for my preference, I still cannot complain because of how well it was crafted; thoughtful and aromatic.
