Ordered the breakfast special which comes to around $14 dollars with tips. The portion size of the breakfast sandwich and hash is fit for a tiny goblin, not for an adult human. It’s a slap in the face and feels almost like a scam. 0.50 cents of ingredients and labour for 14 dollars. Absolutely not worth it.

The bathroom is not available to change a baby without purchase. Purchase at the adjoining gas station is not included as it is a
separate business.

Edit: In response to the owner’s comments, I’m happy to expand from our perspective. My wife (carrying our baby) came in while I was filling gas and asked about using the washroom, indicating that I was pumping gas. The response was something to the effect of “they are a different company”. Taking this as a no, she asked if she could use the washroom if she made a purchase.

I am simply disappointed that a request to use the washroom while carrying a baby and diaper change bag resulted in the need to make a purchase (although the coffee was good, the washroom facilities were less so).

Don't drive past drive-in. A little gem hidden in plain sight. Lovely diner with friendly service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had the butter chicken and lamb curry bowl. Wow! The best curry I have tasted in years flavourful and perfectly spiced. Serves beer too! Highly recommended.

I got the avocado chicken sandwich. When I opened it up I saw two thinly slices of chicken and two leaves. The quantity and quality of ingredients for the price was just not worth it.

This review is on behalf of my son. He was staying unexpectedly late at school and wanted something to eat to hold him over. He decided to try Nove Nine. He fancies himself a butter chicken aficionado, he zoned in on the butter chicken poutine. The person talking his order barely grunted, first strike. He described the butter chicken sauce as very watery and flavourless, the chicken was dried out, the fries nothing special, and a couple cheese curds to round it out. Total disappointment! At $15.75, you expected something much better than what was served. Won't ever go back, too bad, it used to be nice little restaurant under the previous ownership.

This place is okay. The service was good although there is no table service. The prices are high for the portion sizes and quality of food.

I got the Avocado Truffle benny. The english muffin was doughy, the eggs were overcooked, there wasn’t much avo, and the whole meal was bland. The “truffle” wasn’t enough to add flavour. The potato’s weren’t crispy and were too ‘potatoey’ for a breakfast plate. It tasted like the potatoes were just boiled. Not my preference.

I think this place would be nice for the patio or just grabbing a (pricey) coffee to go. I wouldn’t suggest it for having brunch inside.

Very unassuming from the outside but very warm and cute on the inside! Bennie was delicious. Drove past this place for years and so glad we finally checked it out!

Very cool little spot. No clue how long it’s been there must have driven by the place a million times! The eggs Benny was awesome, and the little potatoes that come with were outstanding! Cool little spot for brunch with friends, and even a little patio looking over to the river valley. Great work y’all keep it up!!

This diner has great food and friendly staff. The place isn't much in terms of setup, but the food is astounding and well presented.
