I ordered food for delivery tonight from Oriental Palace in Calgary. The Door Dash driver called, said he couldn't find my address and insisted I stand in front of my address so he could find me. I did? And I informed him I had. He said he couldn't find me and said he was returning the order to the restaurant (which was now closed). I called him back and advised I was in front of my home once more (second time) and he told me he was going to cancel my order and take the food back. Never received my food ... not sure how the refund will resolve??

Overall the food was tasty, the wonton soup didn't have the freshest veggies in it, but the ginger beef was great. The server was extremely busy, as she was the only one there. The restaurant really has that time warp effect, still the same since it probably opened. Could really use an update.

Terrible quality Chinese food. I’ve tempered my expectations for western style Chinese in Calgary, but this was bottom of the barrel. Duck and pineapple was only suitable for the dog. It arrived lukewarm, mushy and old tasting. We didn’t even bother to save the leftovers for the next day. I feel dupped by the google rating, so thought I’d review to save someone else from making the same mistake. Delivery took an hour and 40 minutes to a home 14 minutes away on a Sunday.

Very fast service, and food was wonderful. My wife hasn't had GF Chinese food in many years and this meal almost brought tears to her eyes, it was so good!. Definitely coming back and spreading the word.
