I have only come here for dessert and drinks.The Creme Brulee itself deserves 5 stars. I always wanted to try the food but I've never had time to sit in for dinner unfortunately. Awesome atmosphere tho, I recommend it.

Looooove Ox. We've been going there for years and can't get enough of the many great tapas. Our favourite is definitely the potatas bravas, the chicken and steak are awesome, their desserts.. and the salad is one of best we've had. Have been many times, great for small groups or just a nice date night. Delicious and the latest Reno's make the decor fresh and bright to enjoy great conversation inside our out on the patio in the summer.

I stopped here after liking the ambience look and chose to stay after looking at the menu and felt my mouth watering. I sat at the bar as I was eating by myself and the friendly bartender quickly got me settled with a sparkling sangria (a sangra made with cava). If I were to go for the drink alone I was off to a great start. Five of the tapas dishes called my attention but the bartender suggested I narrowed it a bit because it was too much for one person (who normally eats 2 or 3). So I chose the pan con tomate and manchego, the jamon serrano, the spanish croquettes, and the scallops with potatoes and chorizo. OH MY GOD. One dish after the other they were all so delicious!!! By the end I was so full and satisfied that my desire to have a dessert had to be scratched because I had no more space.

Service was very poor. Food was, as w table staff advised, "tapas-like". Not to my liking. Paella (not sure on spelling) variation was clearly burnt and should not have been served. It was also "paella-like". Not what was expected.

decent tapas, small portion sizes for $$. Which would have been okay and expected except the service was so rude that I felt the need to leave my first ever review. Went there with 5 people, at the end the server told us he can't split bills and was highly offended that we requested this (shocking thing for a group to ask for right?). He said “tapas are for sharing so you're not allowed to splitâ€, completely ignoring the fact that different people get different drinks and other things. He then told us we were free to calculate out how much to pay on our own which we did. He was so rude about it, and then also brought up how we'd “taken advantage†of their $10 cocktail+$0.99 beer deal because we split it among friends when it was apparently intended for one person to have both the cocktail and the beer. It says this nowhere on the menu and he didn't tell us this when we were actually ordering, instead brought it up at the end as if we were trying to scam him and he'd done as a favour by “letting it go†(his words)

Wow. This happy hour is unreal. Half off menu. We got the salad which was so light and refreshing since we ordered the fried chicken. The fried chicken was OUT OF THIS WORLD! James the server is just awesome and super knowledgeable about the food and drinks.

This is a cute place with lovely decor. They have a patio as well. I recently went here with a large group with half our group being elderly. We got seated in the middle and it was super cold. We asked our waiter a couple times to close the patio doors as it was a windy and cold day. He made excuses and ignored our request. After several times he closed 1 of 2 doors. We orderd the spanish table and added 1 item to it. It was lots of food. Most were very tasty but all very salty. Food was great but service ruined it.
Delicious small plates with a punch! Interesting cocktails, as well. Fully enjoyed.

Although one person in our party had been previously so we understood the “high top” rules - I agree with the other comments - this is not a great idea. Super confusing and annoying to exclude certain areas of the restaurant. I mean The patio itself is quite small so it’s not like you are losing (much)money if you honour happy hour. In fact if you read the reviews you are just succeeding in pissing people off. We went on a Sunday and in looking at the website now I see that the happy hour is all night (at least that what I think it means) ....well guess what we didn’t know that and the server(s) never said soooo We didn’t order more drinks, if I thought my drink was $6.50 in stead of $13 - I’d have had at least one more. We probably all would have (except the driver) increasing the bill which....care to guess? BINGO! Increases the tip! Overall it was fine but they offer no reason to return ...I’ll try another one of the dozens of places on 17th next time.
