Been eating here for over a decade and I was planning on ordering a LOT of food tonight and I learn they have closed. I am so sad but also so very grateful. The best Chinese food in the city for me. Thank you for so many wonderful means, interesting conversations and enjoyable experiences. One time I saw our former Mayor (he was Mayor at the time) Nenshi eating there so even he knew it was amazing food. Thank you so much and I will miss you dearly.

Very sad to hear about the closing, but completely understandable. I wish all the best for your retirement. I knew this day would eventually come, but I was hoping the kids would take over. The family has been ordering from here for many decades. I've jokingly said that I have ordered so much salt and pepper chicken wings, that I have put people through school. Best wishes.PS. I've been ordering from here for years. I've always had a positive experience with the staff, and the food has always been fresh and delicious. I've only had a few things off the menu, I stick to the same things and I crave them often.Hehehe

Ordered thru skip the dish (This restaurant offer self delivery themselves even thru skip the dish)As soon as i ordered, this guy from restaurant called me they got no delivery person and i should pick it up or cancel the order. When i tried to talk, this guy stopped me said just ‘bye’ and hung up.I had to contact the skip the dish and cancel by myself in the end.Such an awful and rude experience.

I just moved back to Calgary recently after 20+ years. I remembered how excellent The food and service was as a young man when they still had the restaurant on 4th St so had to try it out. We ordered hot & sour soup and palace style shrimp and it was like a trip back in time, just as excellent now as back in the 80's and 90's.

Could have been more flavour. The sauce on the ginger beef was too thin and didn’t stick to it. I would say this was average.
