Incredible handmade Montreal bagels from Deputy Bagel. Great coffee as always from P&S. We’ll be back.

Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters — If you’re a fan of donuts and great coffee, this place is a must. The lavender donut is light, refreshing, and delicately fragrant. The Boston cream donut is hands down the best I’ve had in Calgary — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced.
I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk, and it was expertly crafted — aromatic, flavorful, with a beautiful latte art design that reflected the barista’s creativity. The only downside was the takeaway cup. I personally enjoy savoring my coffee in a proper ceramic cup when staying in — it adds to the experience, and I missed that here.
Total (cappuccino with almond milk + Boston cream donut + lavender donut + tax + tip): $17.58 CAD

Phil and Sebastian is my favourite coffee spot whenever I’m in Calgary for work. Their vanilla bean latte made with actual vanilla beans is superb. And the Deputy Bagel pop up is excellent too: the cucumber tomato sandwich on an asiago rosemary bagel is unreal, and I don’t even like tomatoes! Hoopla donuts are worth a try too! The blueberry fritter is great! One the best spots in Cgy!

Checked out their pop up Deputy Bagels at this Phil and Sebastian location. They have delicious sour dough bagels, tried their rosemary and Asiago cheese bagel with scallion cream cheese on top. It’s a large bagel with plenty of cream cheese and lots of fresh green onion/scallions on top. Would definitely recommend!

They just applied shrinkflation to all their coffee beans with no transparency.
2.8lbs dropped to 2.5lbs but the same (or higher price)
All bags of beans reduced by about 10% in weight. But don’t worry they have prettier branding to coincide with the reduction and price increases.
The drinks are great but the attitude from the staff this early in the morning is not appreciated. I think we should be more mindful of how we’re treating our customers/the energy we’re giving off. Makes you feel like you’re bothering them by ordering something.

A touch pricey but you get what you pay for, best coffee in Calgary that we've experienced.Small selection of doughnuts that you can tell are made fresh each day. Their options available change every day.
